In good form of late and followed up a 1m handicap victory at Newcastle with a good third in a small field event over the same C&D earlier this month. One for the shortlist dropping in distance.
Winner over this trip at Ayr (good) in August and put a below par effort behind him when a decent sixth at Chester (7f, soft) the following month. Notable runner on his return to action.
Completed a C&D double when winning by a short-head last month. Ran well off this 3lb higher mark when sixth over 6f at Lingfield subsequently and the return to this distance is in her favour.
Placed on both starts since winning a C&D novice event last month. Beaten 2L over 1m at Newcastle on the most recent of those and is an interesting runner racing off the same mark in this contest.
Struggled in two starts over this C&D in late 2018 including when 25L last of 11 last time out. Probably best watched from a wide draw on his return from a break.
Dual turf winner and ran well when placed over 1m at both Chelmsford and Kempton last October. Changed yards since finishing 4L fifth at the latter venue in early November.
Winner of five AW races so far including with three of those coming over this C&D. Back down to his last winning handicap mark following a couple of fair efforts this campaign and market support would be notable.
Beaten just a short-head when finishing third in a 7f handicap at Lingfield last month. Set a tough task racing from out of the handicap over this C&D subsequently and this looks a more realistic target.
Improving with racing since returning from a break with his latest start resulting in a 5L second over this trip at Southwell three weeks ago. Making his first start at this venue.
Seven-time AW winner but has shown his best form on Southwell's fibresand. Struggled when 10L ninth of 11 over 1m at Kempton last time out and others hold stronger claims.
Improved on returned to action when finishing 1¾L fourth in a 1m handicap at Newcastle just under a month ago. Usually ridden from off the pace and interesting with cheekpieces applied for the first time.
Sole success came in a 1m2f maiden at Newcastle in October 2016. Struggled over 1m at Southwell on debut for this yard in December and has finished well held on all three previous starts at this venue.
Forecasts
Blame Culture (7/4), Esprit De Corps (11/2), Glory of Paris (15/2), Zafaranah (9/1), Critical Thinking (10/1), Murdanova (11/1), Hammer Gun (12/1), Mont Kinabalu (12/1), Logi (20/1), Laqab (40/1), Rosarno (66/1), Fire Diamond (80/1)
GLORY OF PARIS has been running well in recent starts and he can register a fifth AW success in this competitive 7f handicap. The selection represents a stable with a 26% strike-rate (5/19) of late and he can get the better of Logi who is making his seasonal debut while third place can go to Blame Culture who has a decent draw and was placed off this mark last time.
