- 9 Runners
- Surface: Turf
Ran poorly last time, but had shaped quite well when fourth of 16 to Crucial Role in maiden at Uttoxeter on chasing debut, and while he needs to improve on that, he's moved to a shrewd yard, and the booking of a top-class amateur does take the eye.
Wide margin winner of a veterans' race last month at Plumpton, and ran at least as well when third at Taunton last time. Not always been the most reliable, but clearly in fine heart at present.
Ran badly over hurdles last time, but comes into the reckoning based on a solid fourth to Sharp Response in a 3m2f handicap chase at Carlisle in October. Needs to refind that form.
Fair hurdler, but already looks a better chaser, and attracted support before running out an easy winner of a 2m7f handicap on fast ground at Leicester last month. Should do better still, and leading claims.
Can jump sketchily but has cut out the errors to post a trio of placed efforts over fences at Warwick this winter, and he should be on the premises for all his current mark sums him up.
Had a hard race when winning at Cheltenham in April, and not quite so good in three runs this term, but did take a step forward over hurdles here last time. Claims if building again on that.
Best effort this season when third at Wincanton in October, but he's been rather disappointing since, and opposable for all yard is in sparkling form.
Seemed to run above himself at Uttoxeter in July, but has only raced twice since then, and has been well beaten both times. Easy enough to swerve after another break.
