Stable going well and with the visor on for the first-time he turned in a career-best to win over 1m2f at Chelmsford. Travelled well last time and his overall profile looks solid enough as he tries to follow up under a penalty.

Course winner who confirmed he was back to form last time at Newcastle over 1m; travelled well and picked his way through to finish in the frame. He's only 1lb higher than his last winning mark; should be capable of getting in the fray once more.

Landed just the second win of his career over C&D in a minor event earlier in the year; headgear plus being well positioned working the oracle. Has had one hit and one miss since, the hit coming last time when second at Lingfield.

Overall record of 1-22 on the Flat hardly sets the pulse racing and it is now 18 wins since his last win. Has run with credit of late though to finish runner-up on his last two starts without necessarily looking to be a winner in waiting.

Yet to win on the Flat (has scored over hurdles) but looks to be on a workable mark on the basis of his last run at Kempton (1m4f). Not one who can be written off at this level; may need things to fall right; slight question marks about this trip.

Nowhere near the same form which saw him secure four turf handicaps in 2017, the last off a mark of 72. It's been downhill all the way since those heady days and he showed very little after a break over 1m at Newcastle recently.

A winner over 1m2f at Chelmsford in September she's shaped well in two starts since separated by a 4 month break. Brought back to action over an extended 1m here last time, the trip proved too short; would be of more interest at 1m2f plus.

Despite the decent form of the yard she's not been able to replicate that in her own start and looks more and more disappointing by the run. Now 27 runs since her last win; back from a short break but only of limited interest.

Returns from wind surgery having had a significant absence and now has his first run for a new yard (sold out of the Ivan Furtado yard for £800). Hardly gave much hope on his handicap debut (beat one home); others appeal more.

Scored her only victory over C&D in November when well-backed off a career-low mark in what looked to be a weak contest. Two runs since (both at Lingfield) over longer trips have proved that she's only modest and will do well to win this.

Consistent sort at this level who has followed up his Chelmsford win (7f) with four solid efforts (well fancied in the market each time). Didn't quite get the run of the race over the extended 1m here last time; not ruled out.

His sole win from 36 Flat start came over C&D and he appears to run his best races in cheekpieces (win came in them). He's worn headgear the last twice and ran one of his better races last time; hard to win with though overall; place chance.

Verdict

Modest fare but there are a few with solid profiles headed by the recent Chelmsford winner DON’T DO IT who has a penalty to carry as he bids to follow up that win, his previous form showing that he is good enough. Top Offer isn’t easy to catch right but he caught the eye last time out and a repeat of his Newcastle run would see him go close. Amor Fati has been running with credit whilst Creative Talent is one to watch in the market although he could probably do with a longer trip. Mr Frankie and Sea Shack are two others that could make the frame.
