C&D winner who won three races last year (just above last winning mark) and ran well last time; shaped better than the distance than he was beaten by. Needs a fair slice of luck to strike with his run style (held up); should give his running.
Lightly-raced sort who already has a course win to his name over 5f (June 2017); has run one decent race since his return over 7f here. Disappointed on his handicap debut last time over 7f at Newcastle; drops in trip here.
Reliable sort who has attracted support on his last couple of runs maintaining his good form at Newcastle. C&D winner so could well be suited by the return here although he hasn't run for a while and may just need this.
Three-time winner over sprint trips last year all at this track (twice over C&D); now just 1lb above his last winning mark but needs to revive after two poor runs. Cheekpieces worn for his last win now return; tried in a first-time visor last time.
Motivated to finish second when last seen by the return of some headgear over 5f at Sandown; 1-28 on AW tracks. Now back on Tapeta and up in trip to 5f with an absence to overcome against some race-fit rivals; may well need this.
Five-time course winner (twice over this trip) with his latest victory here coming in January off a 1lb lower mark (first-time blinkers worn). Continued his good spell since in two runs here over 5f, placed both times; not well drawn though.
Speedy sort who is generally at his best when allowed to bowl along in front; should get a good shot at the lead here. Bounced back to form over C&D last time given a typically aggressive ride and would be dangerous if allowed his own way.
This trip is much more his cup of tea and he took a step in the right direction last time at Lingfield off a mark of 70. Should have won here late last year over 6f (left with too much to do); one to consider given his latest run.
Looks to be back in the groove of late with two 6f wins at Lingfield showing a good turn of foot on each occasion; taking advantage of a reduced mark. Has coped with marks of this magnitude before; respected on his hat-trick bid.
Dropped in trip to 6f last time and failed to match the speed of Aguerooo at it when runner-up to him at Lingfield. The winner who he faces again here has won again since; 6lb better off now but his rival is improving fast.
Visor goes on for the first time (tried in first-time blinkers on return) having not proven so good on the AW yet. Below his turf form when he was fifth over C&D last time (might have needed the run); but others make more appeal.
Not seen to best effect when seventh over C&D last time (Van Gerwen fifth); given plenty to do, needs a stronger gallop. Not done much wrong since joining this yard though; could do with some help from the handicapper.
No stranger to winning here (three-time course winner) although his two handicap wins have come in lower grade than he faces here. Not seen to best effect on his last run over 7f here (ran free); engaged 8.00 Newcastle Monday.

Followthesteps (5/2), The Establishment (7/2), Monumental Man (8/1), Aguerooo (8/1), Laubali (10/1), Independence Day (11/1), Madrinho (12/1), Real Estate (12/1), Peachey Carnehan (14/1), A Sure Welcome (16/1), Mutabaahy (16/1), Van Gerwen (20/1), Vimy Ridge (50/1)
A competitive sprint handicap with Aguerooo looking to complete his hat-trick as he continues his renaissance having been rated higher in the past although he needs to prove himself as effective here as he is at Lingfield. A Sure Welcome has been running well of late but has a wide draw to cope with but it won’t be a surprise if he can run into a place along with the front-running Monumental Man. MADRINHO needs luck in running in his races but he was snatched up at the vital moment last time and with a clear run can take this prize and gain compensation.

- Aguerooo
