Multiple changes of headgear (another change here) over hurdles don't appear to have improved his attitude of late (weak finisher). Capable of useful Flat form but losing run stacking up now; Fibresand debut, not hard to have doubts.
Two visits here have resulted in a win (1m6f) prior to finishing second over C&D under a penalty (beaten at odds-on; not in same form). Ran a respectable race last time but has yet to live up to his winning form in two subsequent starts.
The losing run continues to stack up (25 starts now) although he wasn't disgraced in first-time eyeshields over C&D last time. Gets a slight ease in grade here and often runs with credit but the fact remains he rarely gets the job done.
Nine-course winner (three over C&D) who usually gives of his best on Fibresand; now slipped below his last winning mark. Not quite up to his usual standard on this surface of late; returns from a short break, tongue-tie left off.
Still a maiden but ran well on his first outing for this yard In a Lingfield maiden (1m4f); did a little too much too soon. First run on this surface (promise in the pedigree); on a fair mark if he takes to Fibresand and settles better.

One or two in here that represent some relatively strong Fibresand form with course/surface specialist Luv U Whatever having slipped to a good mark if he can find the verve to take advantage of it after a break. Hidden Depths is another who resides on what looks to be a good mark but this will be his first taste of this unique surface and that leaves a slight doubt. ROYAL COSMIC has shown her versatility already on a couple of AW surfaces and she’s taken to complete a hat-trick after two taking wins here and at Newcastle both times over this trip. Mearing (back from a break) and course winner Country‘n’western add some depth to the event.
