Last won in France in 2016 and has slipped plenty in the weights since racing in Britain. Has posted three respectable efforts on Tapeta of late. Also acts here, and has claims now dropping 2lb and in grade.
Enjoyed a purple patch last July, but the handicapper caught up and he has looked exposed in three recent runs.
Scored here (1m) in 2014. Respectable first run for this stable at Lingfield (1m) last month. 1lb drop won't harm. Wide draw to contend with, but respected.
Has been in decent form this winter, winning by a nose at Lingfield (7f) in December, when 1lb lower, and probably not getting the race run to suit here last time. Needs things to drop right, but enters calculations.
Yet to win beyond 6f, but no doubting that she gets this trip after going very close over it on her last two starts at Chelmsford and more recently Wolverhampton. Same mark here, and if overcoming a wide draw, she has solid claims.
Couldn't win for either Aidan O'Brien or more recently Seamus Durack. Gelded since last seen in April, and has changed yards since. Looks best watched.
Dual C&D winner who has run only twice since the second of those successes in April 2016. Returns for a new yard after another 13-month absence. Can only watch.
6f winner here, who has won over this trip elsewhere. In decent form at present, but looks in need of a bit more than the 1lb drop that she has been afforded by the handicapper here. Not ruled out of the frame, however.
Scored over this trip at Wolverhampton last month, when 1lb lower. Had traffic issues back there from this mark last time. Has a little bit to prove around here, but can't rule her out if she is as effective as on Tapeta.
Listed scorer in 2015 but has not won since and nothing that he has been producing of late suggests that another 4lb drop will return him to the winners' enclosure this time.
Has dropped 7lb for two handicap runs so far, and that makes him interesting now, having shown a reasonable level of ability here in a novice event in December. Could go well.
Ended a lengthy losing run with a ninth career win at Wolverhampton last time (7f), for which he has gone up just 1lb. Has scored here, but has never yet backed up a win. Respected, but may find a couple too good.
12-race maiden. Took a step back in the right direction last time, when sporting a first-time visor, so it is a surprise that the headgear is discarded this time. Others preferred.

Sir Ottoman has to be taken seriously, now dropping in grade and much could depend on what sort of run three of the widest drawn runners, Spiritual Star, Storm Melody and BLESSED TO EMPRESS get, but a chance is taken that the latter can nick the win that she has threatened on her last two runs. Mooroverthebridge, Hic Bibi and More Salutes are others to consider in an open event.
