Off the mark at the fourth attempt over hurdles wen winning a 16 runner contest at Exeter (2m1f, good-to-soft) last time out. Likely to play a leading role despite carrying a penalty.
Struggled in both starts in bumpers including at Bangor last month following over a year off the track. Probably best watched on hurdling debut.
Good 11L third in a 2m novice hurdle at Warwick (good) in November. Failed to repeat that form upped to 2m4f at Uttoxeter (heavy) the following month and better ground forecast here should see him in a better light.
Ran well to finish 1L second in a point-to-point on good-to-yielding ground in Ireland in the autumn. Purchased for £65,000 subsequently and worth a check in the market on debut under Rules.
Winner of a heavy ground bumper at Market Rasen by 6L in April last year. Struggled in better races subsequently and had wind surgery since finishing well held in a Grade 2 contest on hurdling debut in October.
Bumper winner on good ground at Cheltenham in October 2017. Best effort in two starts since came when finishing third in a soft ground bumper here last March. Market support would be notable on hurdling and seasonal debut.
Improved on bumper debut when finishing 13L fourth over an extended 1m7f at Haydock (soft) at the end of December. Likely more needed on first start over hurdles.
Ran well to finish 1L second in a 3m point-to-point on yielding ground last May. Well beaten at a big price on hurdling debut at Chepstow (soft) in December however.
Beaten just 1¾L when finishing third in a good ground maiden contest on hurdling debut at Huntingdon last time out. .Interesting to see if he can repeat that effort in this contest.
Placed in an AW bumper in December and performed well when fourth in a 2m maiden hurdle at Fakenham (good) on hurdling debut early last month. Worth a check in the market.

CHAMBARD is taken to follow-up his victory last time out with success in what looks a competitive novice hurdle. The selection has the trip and forecast ground in his favour and can get the better of Dorking Boy who is returning from wind surgery. Third place can go the way of Blackstairs Lad who represents a useful yard and ran well on his point-to-point debut.
