Stayed on well when third here over 1m3f on second start after a break in November, and faced a stiff task when last of 8 over 2m at Newcastle. Good second again over this C&D latest and racing to a consistent level. Down in grade and can go close.
Placed second or third in all eight starts since winning at Chester in May. First try at this far but has shaped as though he should stay and is remarkably consistent. Should be involved again.
Made it 6 from 12 on an AW surface with his latest success and goes well here. Stayed this trip on his previous try and no reason he can't be competitive but this is a step back up in grade.
Two from three at Chelmsford and now makes course debut on a first try at this trip. Ran in a tough contest there last time and his previous two wins were won in a style that means he remains on a competitive mark. Down in grade and a leading hope.
Lightly-raced and open to further progress at this trip. Should be fitter for two runs back where he has been unsuited by slow tempos. Not certain to get a quicker pace here.
A small field that could become tactical with all six runners preferring hold up tactics. That could suit LUCKY DEAL as he moves up in distance and he shapes as a horse who has a lot more to offer on the AW. Castlelyons is likewise down in grade and races on his preferred surface and like Jabbaar is very consistent.
