Remains 2lb higher than last winning mark and a bit to prove following recent return over this C&D. Drops in grade and stable in form but others preferred.
5-11 on the AW but handicapped up to the hilt returning to this surface. Took advantage of a lower turf mark for a good run of form last summer before two poor runs. Best watched on return.
Now 10lb higher than November's C&D success following a run of four seconds in a row. Concern he's getting edged out in finishes but very consistent and looks sure to go close again.
Now 1lb below 2017 handicap win for Jeremy Noseda and just had two starts for Henry Spiller before this stable debut., including a back to form run over 1m2f here. Drop in trip may suit and one to note in first-time cheekpieces.
In-form for new yard with a good win over a mile at Chelmsford and was a running on third over 7f at the same venue. In-form apprentice takes over and should be a leading contender back at this distance.
Has won off this mark previously and successful over this C&D in December. Good second again here last start in a similar contest and drawn to take up a good position early. Likely to be involved again. Stable also runs Able Jack.
Sole win came over this C&D for David Elsworth and following two poor runs for new yard he was better last start following a gelding operation. More needed but remains lightly-raced.
Progressive type who was demoted to second after veering late at Lingfield but made up for it in convincing style for a second win over this C&D. That was a clear career-best and could well be up to defying 10lb rise and higher grade.
Gained a ninth career win but also his first beyond 7f on stable debut at Lingfield. Remains on a workable mark and although back up in grade, he won in good style and should be involved with a repeat performance.
Tends to prefer Southwell but ran a good second here two starts back. Needs to bounce back from a poor run at Chelmsford and seems better at 7f nowadays.
Plummeting in the weights and although thrown in on old form, he's been out of sorts for some time now, including the last twice down to this grade.

Intrepidly (5/2), Family Fortunes (6/1), Divine Messenger (6/1), Juanito Chico (13/2), Enzemble (8/1), Scofflaw (9/1), Shyron (10/1), Able Jack (16/1), Gossiping (20/1), Hammer Gun (25/1), Regulator (25/1), Poetic Force (80/1)
A competitive and wide-open contest where the rapidly improving Divine Messenger could well be up to the challenge over his preferred C&D. Family Fortunes is such a model of consistency it's hard to see him not being involved while Juanito Chico is in-form and also shouldn't be far away. Narrow preference is for SCOFFLAW who will appreciate the step back up in distance and has a valuable apprentice's claim.
- Scofflaw
- Divine Messenger
- Family Fortunes
