12-race unplaced maiden never made the first six in 2018. One of the lowest rated so even with the first time visor she's hard to fancy.
Dual C&D winner last winter but struggled on the whole of late. Fourth of 15 last time out his best run for some time so not totally ruled out here although conditions of this race unfavourable.
10-race maiden started out for third trainer so far with an inconspicuous effort at Chelmsford finishing 13th of 16. Massive improvement on that needed.
19-race maiden pulled up over hurdles at huge prices the last twice and beaten out of sight at Southwell last time she was seen on the flat. Hard to have any optimism.
Just had three races and beaten out of sight in all of them with two last placed finishes in as many races for this yard. Not seen any encouragement so far.
First placing here three starts back (19th start) proves a false dawn last twice with further moderate efforts. Terms here against him and likely to struggle once more.
Search for 20th career success goes on and losing run now at 21. Admirable performer/record but clearly slowing down now and recent efforts suggest safer bets lie elsewhere.
One from 32 record only tells half the tale. Recently been finishing midfield in class six contests which rates some of the better form on offer here and even with tumbling mark he's weighted to go close.
10 races without success for this yard but 2lb easing for latest Chelmsford fifth means he creeps here with the highest permitted official rating. Far from disgraced last twice here and looks to have a genuine chance now.
Third and most recent start rates her best to date albeit she was eight of 10 over 7f here and beaten 8¾L. Breeding offers hope for this trip and weight for age that the two three-year-olds get makes them appealing.
Showed little in three autumn sprints but first handicap over 1m1½f here a step in the right direction as she was midfield despite maybe not quite staying. 1f less here so trip should be ideal and has a great chance at the weights.
Forecasts
Red Cossack (3/1), Zorawar (4/1), Whimsical Dream (5/1), Imperial Act (11/2), One Liner (6/1), Gone With The Wind (14/1), Outlaw Torn (16/1), Cala Sveva (28/1), Late For The Sky (100/1), Kheleyf's Girl (100/1), Coral Caye (100/1)
The two three-year-olds look the best course of action with their 21lb weight receipt from their very ordinary elders and preference is for WHIMSICAL DREAM who ran better here last time out and Michael Bell's filly could be better suited by this shorter trip. Cala Sveva is very unexposed but did improve last time so could easily go close. Of the elders Zorawar appeals most based on his maximum rating permitted for this contest.
- Whimsical Dream
- Cala Sveva
- Zorawar
