Verdict

An interesting opener which features a couple of recent stable switchers pitched in against some bang in-form rivals. Sights are lowered for 70,000gns pick Golden Wolf who is also fitted with a hood on his third run for Iain Jardine, whilst the 38,000gns purchase Native Fighter looks the most likely of the Jedd O'Keeffe-trained duo. Glan Y Gors (grade) and Claire Underwood (trip) must prove their respective worth, so the safest advice is the Jim Goldie-trained 8yo LOUD AND CLEAR. This rock-solid Tapeta performer stays exceptionally well and ran a very respectable race in a 2m Class 2 handicap here last week when finishing third to Busy Street and Stargazer.
  1. Loud And Clear
