Yet to add to sole win for previous yard and form has tailed off on last three starts. Needs to lift in a first-time visor.
Veteran of 127 races and in form with a win and a second over this C&D the last twice. Up 3lb but should be involved again from a good draw and down in grade.
C&D winner last June off 2lb higher and not beaten far here the last twice. Weighted to go well down in grade but an infrequent winner.
11-race maiden who wasn't far away at Wolverhampton and place possibilities again, however is inconsistent and a touch more required for a win.
Now 1lb below last winning mark and while drop back in trip shouldn't be an issue, he isn't one to place maximum faith in and needs to find more on recent form.
On a consistent run of form at his favoured Wolverhampton but is questionable in a finish as shown by just two wins from 38 starts. Could be involved but well beaten on two previous visits here.
Failed to beat a rival home in her first three starts but then showed loads of speed and improvement when only headed late over this C&D. Capable of winning at this level if building on that.
A career record of 2-66 and a losing run stretching back to April 2016 raises questions. Back on a decent mark but one to oppose on recent form.
Hasn't won since December 2017 (when with Anthony McCann in Ireland) and mostly disappointing for current yard. Slowly away last time and more required.
Remains a maiden following 12 starts and three poor runs have followed a summer break. Hard to recommend at present.
Forecasts
Storm Trooper (3/1), Malaysian Boleh (3/1), Pharoh Jake (4/1), Skip To My Lou (9/2), Amazing Amaya (9/1), Blistering Dancer (10/1), Compton Abbey (14/1), Hurricane Alert (16/1), Chicago School (16/1), Hornby (33/1)
Down to this basement level it may be worth taking a chance that the speedy SKIP TO MY LOU, under another aggressive ride, can build on the promise of her handicap debut. Pharoh Jake is in good heart here and along with the well handicapped Hurricane Alert, can be involved again.
- Pharoh Jake
- Hurricane Alert
