Gelding by Mahler out of a Winged Love mare, 25/1, finished fifth of nine in bumper at Fairyhouse (2m, soft) on debut this month, can improve on that form.

Gelding by Stowaway out of an Accordion mare. €16,000 as a three-year-old and must improve significantly on last month's starting effort at Limerick to figure at the business end.

Point-to-point winner, didn't find as much as looked likely at Fairyhouse on bumper debut, finishing 10¼L third of seven in the end. Should be ready to come forward for that outing.
5

8/1
Oscar gelding out of a Supreme Leader mare, good second in 2m2f soft-ground bumper at Limerick last month on debut and will be in the mix for this surely with more to come.

50/1 and finished in front of only one rival in a Tramore bumper for Barry John Murphy in October, making it 0-5 in this sphere. Changed hands since but looks up against it on form.
Placed three times in seven starts in bumper, also had a couple of spins over timber, holds no secrets it seems and may require a few rivals to underperform to be in with a chance.

Shaping with plenty of promise in point-to-points and noteworthy that connections went to £105,000 at November sales at Cheltenham. Runner-up in Down Royal bumper on debut (winner scored since over hurdles), entitled to have designs on this prize.
Beneficial gelding out of a Presenting mare. Cost €140,000 as a three-year-old the half-brother to Death Duty. Fair showing on debut over 2m2f at Limerick last month (fifth) and may improve on the form.

By Soldier Of Fortune cost €80,000 as a three-year-old as the first foal out of a German Listed placed 1m1f-1m2f winner. Unfancied and well beaten on stable in Leopardstown maiden hurdle at Christmas. Market will guide now.

Runner-up in a bumper at Sligo in May on second start (winner won again next time). Has been off the track since but no fitness worries coming from Closutton and one to be pay attention to.
A €75,000 three-year-old Fame And Glory gelding, he is a half-brother to bumper winner Northern Belle and needs a good look on debut for Jessica Harrington and leading Flat owner.

Getaway gelding, bred for jumping, beaten out of sight in two bumpers back in the spring and pulled up more recently in a point-to-point. Hard to make a case for.
By Getaway out of a Supreme Leader mare, beat just one rival home at Limerick (2m2f, soft) in a bumper last month on debut, finishing a long way behind. Much more needed.
Oscar mare whose dam was a 2m-2m4f hurdle/chase winner. Yard not noted for winning with newcomers and best watched on debut.

Braeside (6/4), Spoken For (3/1), Roll Again (13/2), Latest Exhibition (8/1), The Shunter (12/1), An Fraoch Mor (12/1), Ificudiwud (12/1), Noureev (16/1), Heroes Of Renown (20/1), I'mstillyourbaby (33/1), Howya Darlin (50/1), Delaney's Cross (100/1), Urban Cruiser (100/1), Lorca's Novena (100/1), Tashinny (100/1)

Verdict

BRAESIDE might have run into a fair sort at Down Royal over Christmas when settling for second on debut and this expensively acquired son of Presenting can go one better this afternoon. Latest Exhibition also filled the chief supporting role at Limerick on debut and is perfectly entitled to have aspirations of going one better while the returning Roll Again is of course respected for the champion trainer. Ificudiwud caught the eye on debut at Fairyhouse before tiring and looks capable of better while Spoken For is a newcomer that could have a say.
  1. Braeside
  2. Latest Exhibition
  3. Roll Again
