0-5 in point-to-points and not much to report from pair of maiden hurdles over 2m4f at Fairyhouse and Punchestown thus far. Wants to improve dramatically.
€235,000 son of Lauro started to pay that back when winning a Fairyhouse bumper on debut. Twice placed (third) since over hurdles at this intermediate trip and should harbour similar claims and maybe more.
Bumper winner at Tramore in June on second start, not spotted since but certainly commands a closer look on return for hurdling bow.
Has failed to finish any of his three point-to-point starts in the spring and summer of last year. Others look more convincing.
From the family of Monty's Pass and Harbour Pilot, both smart staying chasers. Entitled to learn from first trip to the track and want a bit further in time, potentially.
Has found it tough going so far in maiden hurdles, especially in last month's reappearance when upped to 2m7f at Navan. May need a handicap mark before being seen to best effect.
Well held in a couple of point-to-point starts when completing since October and just a moderate 32L fourth last time in a bumper at Thurles before Christmas. More needed.
Costly purchase as a three-year-old, nothing special in finishing third in one point-to-point start but in very good hands now and fifth of 20 here last time on rules debut over 2m3f (yielding) certainly offered a base to work from.
Aizavoski gelding, cost £195,000 last year after point-to-point win. Touched off by Rhinestone over 2m here on rules bow and against second on third outing at Limerick behind Eclair De Beaufeu last month. Worth a try over longer trip.
Martaline gelding, filled the runner-up berth in both starts in point-to-points so far. Could be capable of having a say going under rules for the first time. Market check needed.
Wide-margin defeats over C&D and at Tramore (2m5f, soft) so far, needs to step up on the form considerably but in good hands and should be going the right way before too long.
Poor form in Point-to-points but exceeded market expectations when fourth on hurdles bow at Tramore (2m, soft) on New Year's Day. Upped to 2m4f at Navan since and didn't back that run up since.
Stepped up on debut effort when tackling 2m here on good ground earlier in the month, goes up in distance now and requires another sizeable chunk of improvement to get involved at the business end.
Five-year-old Yeats gelding, making first foray onto the racecourse and worth a betting check in the McManus hopes. Trainer having quiet time lately.
Poor form in four point-to-points and a trio of hurdles starts to date and impossible to fancy on all known evidence.
Seven-race maiden in bumper/maiden hurdles. Already has a fall and an unseat on his record in four starts over timber and not one to be weighing with for now.
Poor point-to-pointer, came home in splendid isolation behind the field at Down Royal last month on rules bow and impossible to begin making a case for upped in distance.
Hints of promise in three starts in bumpers during 2018 and another workmanlike effort when 17L fifth of 16 on hurdles bow at Clonmel (2m3½f, yielding) this month. Needs more to improve on that placing in all probability.
Doyen mare, beaten 30L here earlier this month on first outing, that was over 2m but still hard to get enthusiastic on chances of finding required improvement upped in trip.
Poor in point-to-point and, having been pulled up on rules bow at Limerick in December over fences has since been beaten more than 30L in a maiden hurdle at Fairyhouse (2m4f, good) this month. Lots to be worked on.
Off the mark at the seventh attempt in Punchestown bumper over this trip on New Year's Eve, could manage no better than tenth of 12 on hurdles bow at Fairyhouse (2m2f, good) since. Big step forward required.
Beat Hollow mare, whose dam was a bumper/2m6f hurdle winner. Doesn't make major appeal for small yard on first start.
Flemensfirth mare, acquired for €3000 and must improve on last month's debut in a Limerick bumper. Was supported in the betting them, so will be interesting to gauge confidence for this test.
Milan gelding set for racecourse bow if getting the call up. Trainer 0-7 with hurdlers over the preceding 12 months (Second Reserve).

The expensively acquired Dream Conti has twice made the frame in as many attempts over hurdles this term and should be in the firing line again but he might struggle with ENVIOUS EDITOR. Jessica Harrington's runner has twice been denied by promising sorts over 2m this season already and, upped in distance, this could be the race for him. Hurricane Junior didn't justify market support on debut in a Limerick bumper, but should be watched with interest again while Dumhach Thra, Envol Pierji and Pairc Na Ngael are all worth noting going over flights for the first time.
