Makes his handicap debut having run the requisite three times in novice hurdles for this yard; only modest form (ran in bumpers for Tim Vaughan). Beaten a long way out on his last start and begins life in handicaps off a stiff mark.
Yet to quite live up to his fair form in bumpers over hurdles including when he was well backed at Leicester last time out over 2m4f. There is plenty of stamina in his pedigree and longer trips remain an option as he starts out in handicaps.
Inconsistent maiden hurdler who was pulled up on his debut for this yard over 1m7f at Wincanton last time after six months off. Went with very little encouragement and his overall profile doesn't make him an appealing proposition in this.
Returns from a prolonged absence having won over C&D when last seen off a 5lb lower mark; found improvement to score on her handicap debut. Looked at home in this sphere but it will be some training feat to have her ready to win this first-time up.
Fairly useful hurdler at his best when with Dan Skelton but has shown very little since returning from an extended break with the current yard. Finished well held last time; despite a mark 18lb below his last winning one not one to be interested in.
Appeared to be the sort being brought along with handicaps in mind; ran well enough on his handicap debut at Exeter (2m7f);outran his 50-1 SP. Had never encountered soft ground before (handled it well enough); only lightly raced, capable of more.
Started favourite for all his starts for this yard coming good last time in a big-field 3m chase at Exeter off this mark (cheekpieces back on). Won with a bit in hand there and now back over hurdles off the same mark should prove hard to beat.
Three-time hurdles winner in 2017 off much lower marks than he runs off here; gradually appeared to lose his way in this sphere despite the odd solid performance (lacked consistency). Tried over fences of late without success; now reverts to hurdles.
Only capable of modest form over hurdles although has run some of his best races around this course (once over C&D). Gone with little zest since returning from a break; well beaten over the furthest trip he's tried last time (3m2f); limited appeal.
Maiden on the Flat (fair form; 0-13) who ran to a similar level over hurdles on his debut but went backwards in two subsequent outings. Now makes his handicap debut but will have to jump better than before to make any impact.
Twice a course winner over shorter trips she's now slipped back below her last winning mark although she is on a long losing run overall. Looks to have found her form on her last two starts (once over C&D); chance but better versus her own sex.
Winning point-to-pointer (1-6) who has yet to really make her mark over hurdles but is with a top yard. Handicap debut last time over 2m was a inadequate effort (jumped poorly); may well do better over this longer trip; dropped 4lb to a mark of 91.

Hardly a closing event to get the pulse racing and it should present a good opportunity for URBANIST to follow up his Exeter chase win returned to hurdles off the same mark. He’s now found his feet with the excellent Dr Richard Newland yard and could well build up a sequence. Dangers are a little thin on the ground although Gambling Gamut looks capable of better in handicaps as he is only lightly-raced and has some progress left in him. Both Goodnitesweetheart and Quarry Lami were winners on their last appearances but have lengthy absences to overcome to follow up. There may well be a bigger performance in Tigeralley yet over this longer trip if she jumps better this time.
