By French sire Siyouni, he cost 47,000 gns as a two-year-old and is a half-brother to four winners over middle distances. Respected trainer having a quiet spell, but this colt is worth a market check on debut.
Gelded son of Dalankhani who fetched €50,000 as a yearling and is a half-brother to four winners over a variety of distances. Has had a wind operation ahead of his debut and wears a tongue tie. Stable going well.
Son of Sea The Moon and a half-brother to the useful Lady Pimpernel. Slowly away, but not beaten that far, over 1m½f on debut at Wolverhampton and should improve for the experience and this longer trip.
Sea The Moon colt whose price dropped from €90,000 as a foal to €60,000 as a yearling. Half-brother to five winners including Group 3 winner Kings Fete. Easy to back when last of 13 on debut over 1m at Chelmsford and needs to show much more.
Camelot filly who cost €35,000 as a yearling and whose dam won over 1m, including on the AW. Nice pedigree, but will almost certainly need this debut run.
Stable companion of Hen who has been sent off at 100-1 on both AW starts over 1m and has shown only glimmers of promise. Longer trip a plus on breeding, but she looks another for handicaps.
Nicely-bred filly who has been well held on both starts at this venue and Newcastle. Represents leading connections and can surely do better. Cheekpieces fitted for the first time.
Forecasts
Trapani (7/4), Seeusoon (7/2), Moonlit Sea (7/2), Alpasu (13/2), Almost Midnight (8/1), Natsovia (16/1), Hen (33/1), Astromerry (150/1)
It would be no surprise to see Trapani step up on her previous efforts for her top stable, while any support for newcomers Almost Midnight and Akpasu would be interesting. Seeusoon is bred to be much better than he showed on debut, but MOONLIT SEA did shape well on his first start at Wolverhampton and promises to be suited to this longer trip.
