Useful chaser on his day and ran well to finish runner-up in a valuable 2m5f contest over the Grand National fences at Aintree (soft) last time out. One to note on hunter chase debut.
Dual hunter chase winner last season and made a winning comeback when taking a point-to-point at Chaddesley Corbett (good) last month. Leading contender on return to hunter chases.
Classy chaser on his day and improving with racing this season. Beaten a neck in an Open point-to-point at Cottenham (good) last time out and interesting to see how he fares.
Good 8L second to an improved rival in a Ladies Open at Clifton-On-Dunsmore (good) last month. Top jockey booked to ride on return to regulation fences.
Beaten a neck in a 3m1f Grade 3 handicap at Cheltenham (heavy) last March. Had wind surgery since pulling up in the Grand National the following month and likely to play a leading role on debut in hunter chases.
Dual chase winner in 2017 but looked on the downgrade for Jonjo O'Neill last season. Interesting to see how he fares on hunter chase and stable debut.
Winner in this sphere at Cheltenham (good) in May 2017 and finished a good third in a point-to-point at Larkhill (good) earlier this month. More needed if he's to take this contest.
Useful hurdler on his day but beaten 22L in a 3m handicap chase on good-to-firm ground at Ffos Las in July. Likely more needed if he's to take this contest following a break.
Novice hunter chase winner at Fontwell (3m2f, good) last May but pulled up at Stratford subsequently. Made a winning return in a heavy ground point-to-point at Ffos Las last month. More needed in this contest however.
Ended last season with a career best third in the Foxhunters at Cheltenham (soft) in March. Beaten odds-on favourite when 4L second at Barbury Castle (good) on seasonal debut last month however.
Failed to finish on his last two starts over fences including in a veterans race at Aintree (3m1f, good) in October. Worth a check in the market on debut in hunter chases.
Shown decent form over fences in the past. Changed yards since a 5L fifth in a 3m handicap hurdle at Limerick (good) in July.

A highly competitive hunter chase that can see last years winning connections triumph with HAZEL HILL who impressed in winning a point-to-point on seasonal debut last month. Shantou Flyer has some strong Rules form to his name and he can finish runner-up ahead of Brandon Hill who is making his debut in this sphere.
