One time smart staying chaser but setbacks during the years have dimmed the light and not the force of old.
Went close to following up his win here when just touched off at Kelso last time but is progressing and more to come at these extreme trips and lightly raced compared to many of these.
In good heart when last seen and unexposed at this trip but off the track since October 2017 which is a concern.
Yet to get off the mark over fences but plenty of creditable efforts and wind surgery since last seen in April.
Multiple winner down the years but below par last few runs and seemingly age is catching up with him
Showed fine attitude to get back in the winners at Carlisle last month. Third has won since and 5lb rise is fair.
Stepped up on comeback run here when winning with plenty in hand at Carlisle and 10lb rise is deserved. Chance would increase if the rain came but progressive type who merits consideration.
Extreme stayer who needs to bounce back after a below par run last time and the veteran is still 5lb above last winning mark.
Placed again last time but failed to take advantage of what represented a drop in class and long losing run now dates back to 2015.
Game effort to win a mares handicap at Wetherby over Christmas shaping as though a return to this longer trip will suit. 4lb rise not a problem but this a stronger contest which demands more.
Disappointing when last seen in March and although he has won after a break in the past, has something to prove now and probably best watched
Placed efforts of late have been in much lower grade and handicapper not giving him any respite so easy to look elsewhere.
Unlucky not to finish closer over 3m on latest and now looks as though this trip will suit. Still a maiden over fences but merits consideration off his low weight.
