In good heart at this time last year and although not quite in the same form this season, this represents a big drop in class so better expected.
Took a step forward when showing a good attitude to score at Fakenham recently and only 3lb higher. Eye catching jockey booking and slight drop in trip shouldn't be a concern.
Front-runner who followed up Southwell win over C&D last month. Clearly improved since sporting cheek pieces though this better race demands more.
Bit better when third of four over C&D in a weak novice though hard to nail down the exact value of that form. May improve again now handicapping though market should probe a guide.
Got back in the winners enclosure after a 2 year winless spell here last month but that was in a seller and more needed back in this higher grade.
Runner-up in a couple of bumpers last year but hasn't shown a great deal over hurdles including handicap debut last time and needs to step up on what he's shown to date.
Back to best when winning an Amateur riders contest at Catterick last time. 7lb rise is fair if in the same heart. Any rain would be a plus.
