Handicap hunter chase winner over 2m5f at Stratford (good) back in June. Best form in this sphere has come over shorter than this trip. .
Impressive 24L winner of an Ascot (2m5f, soft) hunter chase under this rider last March. Debuting in this sphere that day and is of interest upped in distance.
Winner of three point-to-points already this season and impressed in taking a 2m7f hunter chase at Taunton (good) by 25L recently. Interesting to see how he fares.
Beaten 22L by Crazy Jack when third in a 2m5f handicap hunter chase at Stratford (good) last June. Has struggled over this distance in the past.
Good 2L second in a 3m point-to-point at Larkhill (good) early last month. Well beaten in that sphere subsequently however and others hold stronger claims.
Failed to complete on final two starts for Willie Mullins in 2017 and unraced last year. Others hold stronger claims on debut for this stable.
Placed in a heavy ground hunter chase over 2m5f at Ffos Las 11 months ago. Well beaten by Marinero at Ascot subsequently however and likely to be playing a minor role on this occasion.
Ran well for a long way when fifth in a point-to-point at Alnwick (3m, good) on seasonal debut last month. More needed in this contest however.
Three time chase winner but has failed to finish the last twice and has looked on the downgrade in recent seasons.
Placed off a mark of 138 at Ascot (3m, soft) in March last year. Changed stables since pulling up at Aintree (3m1f, good) in June and market support would be notable on return to action.
Pulled up final three starts for Tom George and struggling from an early stage when pulled up at Taunton (2m7f, good) on debut for this yard recently.

BEEVES ran well for a long way on his return to action last month and he is taken to register a victory on his first start in hunter chase company. The selection has a useful jockey in the saddle and he can get the better of last seasons Ascot winner Marinero who was a useful performer under Rules on his day. Now Ben is a regular in these contests and he can claim third under last seasons champion point-to-point rider.
