Dual winner for Brian Ellison last year but only ran once for Roger Charlton, a seventh of nine back in May and hasn't convinced in two starts for new yard. Needs to improve to be involved.
Has dropped to a good mark but proving inconsistent over the last year. Steady progress late at Wolverhampton off a favourable fast pace but more needed here for stable struggling for winners.
1lb below last winning mark but well below that level of form until shaping with a bit more promise at Lingfield latest when not getting the clearest of runs. Extra required now but holds possibilities.
Raced over 1m3f here the last twice and caught the eye on both occasions. Getting caught wide two runs back and then only getting caught late last time when racing on a strong tempo. Worth a try up in trip and on a competitive mark.
Veteran on a long losing run dating back to 2014. Tailed off over hurdles the last twice and although down in grade back on the Flat, remains unconvincing.
Has shown some ability but handicap mark looks stiff and needs to improve on latest run over this C&D. May improve when learning to settle better but others preferred for now.
Yet to place in five starts on a synthetic surface with both wins coming on the turf and current mark looks stiff in this sphere. Drop in distance a positive but others look better handicapped.
Suited by racing on a slow pace when breaking through on start 12 at Lingfield. Up 2lb but likely to have more to offer over this trip in a race lacking depth.
Ran twice in France for Pascal Bary (cost 25,000 gns in October) and a reproduction of his debut would see him on a favourable mark on handicap debut. However disappointing twice since including on UK and stable debut.
Shown little promise in seven runs under all codes including in three maidens since joining this yard. Needs to find significant improvement on handicap debut.
Forecasts
Unit of Assessment (5/4), Taurean Dancer (6/1), Continuum (8/1), Roar (9/1), Zenith One (12/1), Agent Gibbs (12/1), Gravity Wave (14/1), Subliminal (16/1), Incredible Dream (16/1), Chief Sittingbull (66/1)
UNIT OF ASSESSMENT has proved consistent over the last year and should be primed after his three promising runs back. Taurean Dancer is open to further improvement and is at least moving in the right direction. Gravity Wave needs to find more but was a bit unlucky last time and may be returning to form.
