Has looked over-whelmed in a number of recent performances in bumpers and maiden hurdles, including a couple of heavy defeats last month and a 26L deficit in January. Unlikely to play a part in the finish.
Sent off at 100/1 on maiden hurdle debut when pulling up at Cork earlier this month. Hard to fancy and plenty to prove.
Generally solid form in a number point-to-point starts, but has been disappointing in a couple of maiden hurdles recently. Hard to construct much of a case for the mare here.
Daughter of Mountain High out of a Erins Isle mare. Markey likely to be the best guide here on debut under rules.
Dropping in trip didn't suit in a Naas maiden hurdle last month, bumping in to Relegate in the process. Strong place claims stepping back up in distance.
Well held in a couple of bumpers when last seen in November. Will need to raise overall profile to play a part here.
Solid and consistent form in a number of bumper starts in the spring of last year. Missing since and expected to be well prepped for hurdling debut.
Winner of two of her five starts in bumpers over shorter trips in France. Market likely to reveal expectations on hurdling debut for leading yard.
Well beaten and no impression in a couple of maiden hurdle starts since November and may be of more interest when sent handicapping.
Close up behind leaders, slightly hampered three out when still in contention in a Navan maiden hurdle before dropping to third on the run in. Strong place claims in this company.
Forecasts
Black Tears (6/5), Elfile (11/4), Rhythm Divine (5/1), Sunrise Lady (5/1), Condarcia (20/1), Pleasant Hill (25/1), Annie Odds (66/1), Golden Glen (100/1), Dare To See (100/1), Oscar Light (100/1)
Likely to be a lively betting heat between the two main protagonists with the Grade 3 bumper form of BLACK TEARS to be strong enough to see off the challenge of French import and Willie Mullins-trained, Elfile. Sunrise Lady for trainer, Conor O'Dwyer, Rhythm Divine a solid third of 21 last month at Navan and Pleasant Hill could contest for the minor honours.
- Black Tears
- Elfile
