Won twice over 2m at Plumpton last winter and then highly tried on recent Ascot comeback. This represents a drop back to a more realistic grade though has to prove his stamina up in trip.
Impressively landed a gamble at Lingfield but well blow that form when pulled up at Hereford subsequently. Said by trainer to have run "flat" then and big chance if returning to earlier win.
In the frame all three runs at the track and ran right up to form when just failing to get up at Fakenham on new years day.
A pair of good ground wins early last summer but form dropped off after that and back hurdling today having unsuccessfully tried fences last time. Something to prove at present.
2m Kempton win in May 2016 but was then absent until tailed off on return there on Boxing Day and hard to know what ability remains.
Won a Taunton novice over 2m but didn't convince he stayed when upped to this trip on subsequent handicap debut so needs to prove his stamina.
Formerly with Willie Mullins and sold to current yard for £16,000 but has been hopelessly tailed off for both starts and can;t be fancied on recent evidence.
Best form for a while has been on a sound surface so the heavy ground at Sandown last time wouldn't have been in his favour. Previous Cheltenham second reads well here and not without a chance.
Sprang a huge shock at Wincanton in May but form either side of that leaves plenty to be desired and has to bounce back after a break to be a factor today.
Bit better returning to hurdles when third at Plumpton last time but that form has been let down since and needs to build on that.
Landed a weak maiden hurdle over 2m last winter. Struggling for form this term but well handicapped if able to recapture it and worth noting in the market.
Beat sole rival at Plumpton three runs ago but hasn't built on that since and others preferred away from her favourite track.
Forecasts
Not Never (3/1), My Brother (5/1), The Premier Celtic (5/1), Bang On (11/2), Rough Night (7/1), Wind Place And Sho (10/1), Acaro (12/1), Flo'sboy Sam (20/1), Kentford Heiress (22/1), Ding Ding (25/1), Master Of Speed (40/1), Itsonlyrocknroll (50/1)
ROUGH NIGHT looked a horse to follow when winning at Lingfield and it's possible his Hereford run came too soon. If that was the case he can get back on the winning trail now at the expense of My Brother who will appreciate the better surface today. If staying, Not Never has the ability to play a part in the finish.
