Shaped with plenty of promise on his second start at Ffos Las and ran with credit at York in a valuable sales race last time. Gelded since, related to AW winners and sets a solid standard if ready for this on his return.

Improved from debut to place on his next couple of start at Newcastle. That form doesn't look obviously strong but he has more experience than most in here and he's not without eachway claims. Wears first-time eye-shield.
Iffraaj colt, cost 20,000 gns as a foal and £25,000 as a yearling. Dam placed over this trip on AW and she was a half-sister to two Listed winners. Interesting runner on debut, particularly if the market speaks in his favour.

Showed some promise at Kempton on debut. Gelded subsequently and showed no improvement at Wolverhampton last month. May be one to watch when sent handicapping.

Tailed off on both starts to date, a pair of runs at Wolverhampton over this trip and very hard to make a case for on what he's shown so far.

Sent off at big prices on both his career starts and tailed off at Lingfield last week. Better expected at some stage but would appear to be an unlikely winner here.

Flatter filly, cost $200,000 as a yearling. Half-sister to a US Grade 3 winner and a Group 2 winner. Dam a half-sister to a US Grade 1 winner. Looked green on debut here last month but stuck to her task well and expected to improve here.

Has run with credit on both starts to date at Newcastle and Lingfield. Each-way claims but may do better when stepped up in trip.

Kodiac filly, cost 30,000 gns as a foal and 80,000 gns as a yearling. Related to several winners at sprint trips. Dam a 7f winner and half-sister to a 7f Group 3 winning juvenile. Yard can ready one for debut and market should reveal expectations.

Forecasts

Eve Harrington (5/4), Barossa Red (2/1), Ivory Charm (9/1), Sense Of Direction (11/1), Cheap Jack (12/1), Sarasota Star (18/1), Georgearthurhenry (25/1), So I'm Told (50/1), Twpsyn (100/1)

Verdict

EVE HARRINGTON cost a small fortune as a yearling and the filly ran well enough on debut here when in need of the experience to suggest she can be competitive in this contest. Barossa Red sets the standard on form but may need the run on his first start this winter while Sense Of Direction makes most appeal from the debutantes.
