Last seen finishing runner-up to Might Bite over hurdles at Kempton and while the handicapper has tried to give him a chance on his return from a lengthy absence here, he will surely be in need of the run.
Improved from his seasonal reappearance to win over C&D in October but has found life tough up in class subsequently. May need some relief from the handicapper.
Has been running okay over fences for this yard of late and returns to this sphere on a workable handicap mark. Three of his four wins have come on good ground and not one to rule out here.
Impressive when winning by 9L over hurdles at Huntingdon in April on good ground. Unseated at the first on chase debut but put up a respectable effort in defeat at Aintree last time and she's expected to go well now returned to quicker ground.
Useful over fences but didn't really take to hurdles when switched back to this discipline here last time out. Probably needs a bit further than this to show his best form.
Runner-up in a maiden hurdle at Listowel and had excuses next time when the saddle slipped at Sedgefield. His two starts in maiden hurdles since have been disappointing but opening handicap mark looks workable.
Shaped like a return to form was imminent last time out over C&D and well-handicapped on his best form here. Freshened up since his last run and rates as a fascinating contender.
Forecasts
Thosedaysaregone (11/10), Jet Set (9/2), Blue Hussar (5/1), Bordeaux Bill (11/2), Kapgarry (12/1), Simply A Legend (20/1), Braavos (33/1)
JET SET ran well last time out on unsuitable ground and with today's conditions sure to be more to her liking, the filly is the one to beat back down in class. Blue Hussar is well-handicapped and goes well around here while similar can be said for Braavos who will appreciate the quick ground.
