Victory and two other good efforts, each at Chelmsford, since joining current trainer from Rod Mlllman's yard. In form and feasibly weighted if adapting to this change of surface.
Scored twice on turf in early summer, last year, but lost his way and failed to place in four subsequent starts. Has been given a break and tries his luck on the AW. Hard to know what to expect, but is certainly not ruled out.
First run since last April when last of eight on the Southwell Fibresand recently. Needs to do much better, but is 2lb lower and should be sharper this time.
Clear-cut victory over C&D before finishing second under a penalty four days ago. Has to cope with another 2lb rise, but clearly enters the equation given his current form.
Third behind Paparazzi over C&D last time, but reopposes on 8lb better terms for a beating of just under 5L. Previous run was solid, too, so he is one for the short list.
Former Saeed Bin Suroor-trained mare who has shown little in two starts for current handler. Up in trip off falling handicap mark, but needs to take a step forward.
Forecasts
Glory of Paris (9/4), Rey Loopy (5/2), Paparazzi (11/4), Newmarket Warrior (5/1), Mont Kinabalu (16/1), Muqarred (50/1), Dubai Elegance (80/1)
Cases can be made for a few of these and it would be no surprise to see Paparazzi go close in his current vein of form., but he he may struggle to confirm recent C&D running with NEWMARKET WARRIOR at these weights. Mont Kinabalu has the ability to get involved if on a going day, while Glory Of Paris and Rey Loopy have fair claims and are sure to have their supporters.
