Has won three of his nine races this season, including winning a Bellewstown handicap hurdle (2m4f, good) off a 7lb lower mark in August. Mixing hurdles and fences since, disappointing at Punchestown 12 days ago, now tackles 3m for the first time.
Awarded race after finishing second over 2m6f on hurdles debut at Punchestown in November, solid effort last time at Leopardstown in Pertemps Handicap Qualifier on first attempt over 3m, should give a decent account.
Good-ground winner over 2m4½f at Punchestown in the summer, though mixed bag of form since. Stays this far, but underwhelming effort last time at Punchestown, long way adrift of Satoshi on that evidence.
0-3 in maiden hurdles, not without promise in that sequence but must take a step forward now tackling 3m for the first time if hoping to have claims of a share of prize money today.
Generally well held in five handicap starts since winning his maiden at Cork 13-months ago. Competitive in first-time blinkers (retained) at Limerick (3m, heavy) recently on first attempt at this trip. Needs a bit extra to defy current rating.
Thriving since joining this yard, now 2-4 having scored last month over 2m7f at this track with a bit in hand. Up 9lb for his troubles but one to take seriously in current mood.
Ballinrobe winner over 2m4f in September, didn't run badly one start since at Leopardstown (2m4f, good to yielding) over Christmas having gone up 6lb. Inched up another pound here and slight doubt lingers over this 3m trip.
Winner here over 2m4f in November 2017, disappointing efforts since before a better run at Limerick (2m5f, soft) when second over Christmas in a handicap. Has gone up 2lb for that, and needs career-best to land this.
