Camelot colt, cost €240,000 as a yearling, improved off a break to score on second start in a maiden hurdle at Punchestown (2m, good) on New Year's Eve. Going the right way, this is a bit tougher though.
Won a 2m good-ground Punchestown maiden hurdle on second start in November. Runner-up reversed form since in Leopardstown Grade 2 (2m, good to yielding), though that still represents strong form.

Consistent sort, got off the mark at the fifth time of asking in 2m maiden hurdle at Gowran Park in November and not disgraced over this C&D in Grade 3 novice company next time. Player again here.

Dual hurdles winner during a busy summer and autumn campaign but found out in better company at Aintree and Leopardstown's Christmas Festival more recently. Has to bounce back.

French hurdles winner, behind Got Trumped on debut for Willie Mullins in a Leopardstown Grade 2 (2m, good to yielding) over Christmas. Was hampered late on, should also be fitter this time and enters the equation.

German trainer Mario Hofner landed a Market Rasen bumper in October with this daughter of Authorized before she was snapped up by Gigginstown. Collared close home by Gardens of Babylon on stable bow in Punchestown maiden hurdle. May offer more.

Forecasts

La Sorelita (7/4), Surin (10/3), Got Trumped (4/1), Gardens of Babylon (5/1), Havingagoodtime (5/1), Lever Du Soleil (8/1), So Enjoy (25/1), Smiling Eliza (33/1)

Verdict

Gowran Park maiden winner LEVER DU SOLEIL wasn't disgraced here in graded company when last spotted and might hold strong claims in this company. Gavin Cromwell's charge is capable of better again and can get the better of Got Trumped, who ran well at Leopardstown's Christmas meeting in a better race than this. Gardens of Babylon got the better of Surin at Punchestown on New Year's Eve, though only just. The latter is now fitter and 5lb better off, and can reverse that form.
  1. Lever Du Soleil
  2. Got Trumped
  3. Surin
