Three-time course winner but all those victories have come over 5f with his one try over this trip here being underwhelming (has won over 6f on turf). Has looked in a quiet spell of late although he will be well handicapped when he does bounce back.

Only tried once before on this surface (finished fourth) with an ever-increasing losing run to deal with. Showed very little on his first start for this yard last time at Lingfield (soon off the bridle); questions to answer now.

All his form at this course is over this trip with his one win having come on his debut here and he's back on that winning mark here. Has performed poorly of late though (even here); three runs since a 7 month break leave a lot to be desired.

Modest handicapper with just two wins her name and some modest form on Fibresand. Both runs for this yard have come on this track but over this trip last time she failed to build on her debut run for the stable; on a good mark if returning to form.

Best form from three starts on Fibresand came over C&D last November (made all taking advantage of a fall in the weights). Not in quite the same mode over C&D next time but ridden too aggressively weakening close home; one to consider.

One of only two in this field that haven't experienced this surface before although he's hard to recommend with a record that stands at 0-20. Both his tries over this trip have been underwhelming (usually raced over further); best watched.

Until his most recent outing which came over C&D he's looked a rather limited sort although his "improvement" did come in a very weak contest. This looks a tougher contest and it would come as a surprise if he could win this.

A couple of runner-up slots in weak races are all he has to show for his effort on Fibresand and he was well below form last time. Even this grade tends to test him; easily passed over having not won for over two years.

Both of his runs here have proved to be deficient in any quality and he was well beaten last time over 5f (never going from an early stage). Now stepped up to 6f but he's been well beaten at this trip before on AW and turf; others appeal far more.

His only win came on his second start for Richard Hannon in a Leicester seller (6f, soft); barren spell since then. Neither of his runs for this yard have shown anything in terms of residual ability; now makes his Fibresand debut, little appeal.

Jazz Legend (9/2), Diamond Pursuit (9/2), Alligator (5/1), Pearl Acclaim (11/2), Westfield Wonder (7/1), Dream Ally (9/1), Blistering Dancer (10/1), Ticks The Boxes (10/1), Mountain Of Stars (14/1), Juan Horsepower (16/1), Luduamf (100/1)

Verdict

Most of the form in this low-grade contest is fairly weak and it looks a tricky puzzle to solve with JAZZ LEGEND the suggestion being already a winner over C&D. He shaped well enough last time despite being ridden too aggressively and a repeat of his previous performance would be good enough to win this. Diamond Pursuit isn’t one to leave out of this although she will need to return to form but does feature off a good mark. Pearl Acclaim is very well handicapped if he came back to his best although this trip remains a doubt with Dream Ally and Ticks The Boxes a duo that have form here but would need to return to their best to get involved.
