Improved significantly in second start when staying on well for third to reward each-way backers at 40/1 despite pulling very hard. That form not far off what will be required here and no reason he can't improve again especially if settling better.
Lowly 45-rated dual flat winner was 250/1 for hurdles bow and pulled up three out after several jumping errors in rear. Hard to envisage anything but similar struggles.
Fell when in front on hurdles bow at Bangor before employing similar tactics at Southwell latest where he finished a good second of 11. Should improve and sets a good standard but jumped left at Southwell which would be a concern here.
Useful sort on the Flat (won off 97 on the AW over 1m2f) when with Marco Botti but showed little on hurdles debut as he finished 10th of 14 at Huntingdon. Improve plenty for that with time but big step up required here.
2L C&D third on hurdles debut reads very well and since ran to a similar level when fourth of 16 at Wincanton where he travelled strongly until a mistake two out. Leading claims here and sound surface suits well so bold bid expected.
Represents top connections and leading course trainer but beaten long way in all three starts to date. Made several jumping errors latest when a tailed off 12th of 14 at Huntingdon and hard to recommend now.
Towcester bumper winner in October 2017 failed to kick on from that in similar contests. Travelled well for a long way on hurdles bow but paid the price for being too keen as he eventually finished sixth of nine beaten 25L. Good bit more needed.
49-rated triple AW winner on the level has yet to make the frame in 10 hurdle races. Off for 19 months and very hard to fancy.
Showed some ability in a couple of midfield bumper efforts for Mags Mullins in 2017 but beaten 66L and 51L in two more for this yard since. Unlikely to play a part on hurdles debut.
Second in Towcester bumper but well beaten in two more and finished 10th of 11 beaten 42L on hurdles bow at Leicester (1m7½f) last month. Can only be watched on the back of that.
Little to recommend her in two bumpers and in rear when riders saddle slipped leading to her unseating rider on hurdles bow. Best watched with handicaps likely a better option down the line.
77 rated flat performer (peak 87) ran a respectable race behind a useful sort when third of seven at Newbury in a juvenile contest beaten 24L. This race a notch easier so significant role very possible especially with juvenile weight benefit.

LE LIGERIEN for the all-conquering Hobbs/Johnson combination has made two promising starts so far over hurdles including a third here on debut and has leading claims now to gain a first career win. The biggest dangers look to be recent Southwell second Khage who likes to bowl along in front which will suit this tight track and Legal History who showed ability at Newbury and with the 12lb receipt of weight he must be respected.
