Trip and surface not expected to cause any issues and arguably deserves a change of fortune. Slightly disappointing favourite last time out but the drop back a couple of furlongs might help this time. Must be considered in this company.
Went up 4lb for her recent win at Chelmsford and coped well when she posted a solid effort in defeat last time out. The filly races from the same mark here and is likely to be thereabouts again with a similar performance.
Lost his way since winning this race last year and will take a big turnaround in recent form if he's going to retain the crown. Being visored for the first time might assist the cause but he's got a lot to prove.
Not won since her racecourse bow in February 2017 but is at least dropping to a handy mark. All Weather form is generally modest and as she's also never raced at this course before now, the mare might be best just watched on this occasion.
Has seven course wins to his name over a variety of trips, the gelding is showing no signs of losing his enthusiasm and is only 2lb higher than last month's course win over an extended 1m4f. Faces stiffer company here though.
Forecasts
Given Choice (1/1), Tidal Watch (3/1), Falcon Cliffs (8/1), Yasir (8/1), Dream Magic (12/1), Jack Bear (14/1)
GIVEN A CHOICE has hit form at the right time for this and is likely to be hard to resist if she can deliver a similar effort to the one she posted at Chelmsford just before Christmas. Tidal Watch could well improve for the fitting of cheekpieces for the first time and is feared as a live danger, while Yasir raises his game when he visits Wolverhampton and cannot be discounted either.
