Showed something to work on in four runs for William Knight, but yet to build on that promise since switching stables. May do better in time, but opposable at present.
Hasn't taken much racing, but promised more when third over C&D on her penultimate start. Followed that with a disappointing effort at Wolverhampton, but may get back on track returned to this venue.
Won over C&D in March and at Lingfield in August. Creditable efforts on the whole since, and shouldn't be far away if avoiding trouble in running.
Disappointing in this sphere for Eve Johnson Houghton, and hasn't gone on from a promising start over hurdles for new yard. Realistic claims back on the Flat, but needs to respond positively to a first-time visor.
Didn't run badly when fourth on stable debut at Lingfield in November, but dropped away pretty tamely at Wolverhampton last time, and needs to put that poor effort behind him.
Handicap winner over 1m4f at Epsom in August, and excused poor run on heavy ground on latest Flat start. Has shaped with some promise in two starts over hurdles, and fairly treated back in this discipline.
Won at Wolverhampton last month and has run well to be placed on both starts since, the latest when finishing strongly over 1m2f at Lingfield. Well worth a try at this trip, and respected.
Still a maiden on the Flat, but quite a useful tool over hurdles, and returned from a lengthy absence with a couple of solid runs in that sphere this winter. Could be very well treated if translating that level of form to this discipline.
Winless in 2018, but slipping in the weights and caught the eye when ¾L second of 12 to Whatwouldyouknow at Wolverhampton in November. Too keen last time, and can do better if settling.
Has yet to live up to his lofty price-tag, and failed to improve making handicap debut at Lingfield last month. Plenty to prove now.
Hasn't fired since moving from Richard Hannon in the summer, and while he hinted at a revival last time, he needs to show more before he can be considered a betting proposition.
Poor form over hurdles for this yard, and hasn't fared much better in a couple of recent Flat outings.
Won at Brighton in April, and better form when placed at Chepstow in July. Below form on return from a break at Lingfield in September, however, and another break since that run doesn't inspire confidence.
No show in qualifying runs, but improved in blinkers on handicap debut to finish third over 1m3f here last month, and the way he finished off suggests the return to this trip will be strongly in his favour.
Forecasts
Double Legend (3/1), Turn Of Luck (3/1), Highway One (6/1), Tour de Paris (10/1), Foresee (12/1), Power Home (12/1), Furiously Fast (14/1), Famous Dynasty (16/1), Sir Prize (20/1), Butterfield (20/1), Matravers (25/1), Make Good (33/1), Boycie (50/1), Happy Ending (50/1)
TURN OF LUCK is in grand form right now, and the way he finished off at Lingfield last time suggests that he will do even better at this trip. The unexposed Double Legend is another who will appreciate the extra yardage after staying on strongly here last time, and is feared, with Furiously Fast considered on the basis of his hurdles form.
- Turn Of Luck
- Double Legend
- Furiously Fast
