Beautifully bred gelding not necessarily lived up to expectations so far with fifth of 12 at Listowel and 11th of 29 at Navan. Must step up to be involved but interestingly jockey's choice of three in this ownership.
Finished midfield in a bumper last backend and since managed a similar effort over hurdles when beaten 49L into 10th by likely top class novice Tornado Flyer. Fare a little better here for the experience but only of minor appeal.

Dual French AW Flat winner bought by connections for 150,000 gns in October 2017. Makes quite belated stable debut but trainer unparalleled with French recruits and fully expecting a bold bid on hurdles bow.

Tailed off in a bumper and three maiden hurdles so far. Very surprising he comes here rather than going handicapping and expected to struggle similarly.

82-rated four time 1m2f winner on the flat for George Scott. Handled soft ground on the level so shouldn't be inconvenienced here and expected to make a bold bid on hurdles debut given top connections.

Unplaced point-to-pointer was 100/1 for Rules debut where he fell at the first hurdle. Hopefully put that behind him now but fully expecting a big price again and looks up against it.

33/1
Three-time AW winner for Ed Walker from 1m4f-1m5f rated 73. Seemed to handle most ground on turf including soft so should be capable of running a solid race if jumping soundly and has each-way potential here.

Bought for £75,000 after winning a Loughrea point-to-point in August. Dam from a good staying family so may be that he needs further in time but looks an intriguing rules debutant so merits respect.

Last of six on debut in a warm Limerick bumper before finishing eighth of 20 here seven months later on hurdles bow beaten 70L. Hard to recommend on that and trainer none from 101 over hurdles this season.
Daughter of Oscar finished seventh in a pair of bumpers at Naas but beaten much further in the more recent. Should prove better over hurdles with time but surprise if she makes presence felt here.

Well bred mare made a winning debut in a C&D bumper impressing as she scored by 6L. Couldn't build on that next in a Listed contest at Navan in November but should prove a different proposition now hurdling and merits serious respect here.

100/1
Unplaced point-to-pointer beaten 76L and 55L so far in two races under rules. Handicaps after this will offer some opportunity but can't be considered here.
50-rated eight race maiden on the flat struggled in two hurdle races so far beaten 24L and latterly 56L. One for low grade handicaps after this.

Getaway newcomer is a half-sister to two hurdle winners from 2m-2m4f. Yard have occasional success with novice hurdlers so market support would be noted.

Finished midfield in two hurdles starts so far but beaten 40L and 51L respectively. More to come with time but unlikely to play any significant role here.

75-rated on the Flat for Richard Fahey but two deplorable efforts so far over hurdles beaten out of sight first time out and 20th of 22 last time. Can't be suggested now.

Bumped into the smart Sir Erec first time over hurdles so struggles to be expected as he was 19th of 28 beaten 42L. Hopefully prove better with time but unlikely to make significant inroads here.

Horse silk
100/1
59-rated dual flat winner (1m2f and 1m3½f) for Mick Channon made an inauspicious start over hurdles finishing 16th of 28 behind Sir Erec at Leopardstown. This likely a little easier but unlikely to play a significant part.

33/1
Dual flat winner made a pretty promising start over hurdles finishing a never nearer third at Gowran. Little disappointing next as he was beaten 43L into 13th of 17 at Limerick. Some place potential here but ground is a concern.
Beaten 28L in lone bumper before one of several to be well down the field at Leopardstown last time out in a race won by Sir Erec. May come on for that but unlikely to make the frame.

Poor flat maiden made huge improvement latest when a close fourth of 23 over C&D at 100/1. That form gives her genuine each-way potential here and certainly be a fraction of the price this time.
Placed in a three-year-old hurdle on heavy ground in France before sent chasing. Lightly raced overall and open to improvement so could go well if getting a run. First Reserve.

Verdict

A difficult contest this with little hurdles form of note so those new to the code could dominate. A chance is taken on Jessica Harrington's EMILY MOON who showed plenty of potential in her first bumper and her likable jumps pedigree offers hope that she can build on that over obstacles. Willie Mullins newcomers are always to be respected, especially French imports so Fast Buck is expected to goo well as is Road To Dubai for Mullins' title rival Gordon Elliott.
