Not devoid of promise on debut in a Newcastle bumper in November, but failed to build on that back there last month. Probably best watched on hurdles debut.
Ran well on debut in a bumper at the Punchestown festival last April, when with Emmet Mullins. Improved on that when 4L second on stable/hurdles debut in a Warwick maiden (2m5f, good to soft) last month. The one to beat on that evidence.

Won an Irish point-to-point on his fourth start, last spring. Ran well for a long way, despite being keen, on hurdles debut at Hereford. If he can settle better, then he could pick up some prize money.
Faced a couple of tough assignments in his first two bumpers, but improved significantly on that on his first try on good ground at Warwick when last seen in May. Interesting, and worth a market check now going hurdling over further.

Bought for £80,000 last spring after winning a soft ground Irish point-to-point. Has made a promising start over hurdles, improving on his Aintree debut when third at Warwick last time. Short-listed.

Went close in a soft ground Lingfield handicap (1m3½f) on the Flat for Mohamed Moubarak in August (OR 65). Well beaten last of three on Doncaster hurdles/stable debut last month. Much more needed.

Well beaten in a Market Rasen bumper in June and pulled up on his hurdles debut at Kempton in November. Can only watch.

Showed some promise in both an AW bumper at Newcastle last March, and a fast ground bumper at Towcester when last seen in May. Has stamina to prove over this far on hurdles debut, but one to note with the future in mind.

Ran well enough in an Irish point-to-point when 1L third last April. Nibbled at in the market when 22-1 and still going well when stumbling approaching two out at Hexham (2m4f, good) on hurdles debut. Will need to step up on that.

Forecasts

Clarendon Street (2/5), Redzor (2/1), Kingofthecotswolds (8/1), Est Illic (16/1), Western Aussie (16/1), Welsh Rarebit (66/1), Sharp Reply (66/1), Uncle O (125/1), Beauty Dragon (150/1)

Verdict

Another interesting contest in prospect, but the hurdles debut made by CLARENDON STREET looked good enough to suggest that, with some natural improvement for the experience, he can come good this time. Redzor has a bit more experience and has made a similarly promising start over hurdles, so it would be no surprise if he proved good enough. Kingofthecotswolds improved significantly when last seen and should be well prepared for his debut over hurdles. He looks next best, though neither East Illic nor the unfortunate Western Aussie is ruled out of the frame.
  1. Clarendon Street
  2. Redzor
  3. Kingofthecotswolds
