Well beaten on debut at Hereford and only made late gains when the race was all but over. Big improvement required.
Never a factor in either of his previous starts and already looks to be of very limited ability. Not hard to overlook on the evidence available.
Posted a solid effort behind an odds-on favourite of Nicky Henderson's on debut. Time may confirm that to be a decent effort; has to be considered now he has C&D experience to draw from.
Ordinary pedigree and showed very little when finishing tailed off at Chepstow on debut; others make more appeal.
Made late progress on debut here last month but was never really a factor. may already need a sterner test of stamina.
Mixture of speed and stamina in her pedigree; the mare is a half-sister to a couple of bumper winners and her dam is a close relative of the useful Marble Arch. Pitched at a lowly level for her debut. Yard quite but very capable though.
Well supported on debut but couldn't get on terms with the leaders at any stage and was readily brushed aside. Not much improvement shown at Warwick last time and now has a bit to prove. Yard highly respected though. (Cost £30,000 as a 2YO.)
A half-brother to winners on the Flat but ought to have this sort of trip within him judging by his pedigree. Worth a betting check - jockey booking also a positive.
Has Flat winners in his pedigree but also related to Prouts Pub, winner of a bumper and went on to win over hurdles too. Showed ability on debut, so may have more to offer. Worth a betting check.
Ran way above market expectation at Wincanton on debut (finished 5L ahead of Grange Walk in a similar race) and looked to be getting better the further he want. An interesting one to note in the betting.
Cost €10,500 as a yearling, the gelding has a middle distance pedigree but represents a highly motivated yard that is very capable of having him primed. Another for the shortlist.

Marginal preference is for MILLERS BANK, who ran as well as could be expected behind a horse of huge potential on debut. That experience will have done him plenty of good and the gelding has little to find to take things a stage further this time. Playing Games and Soyouthinksoagain are a couple of debutantes that are worth considering if the betting market backs up their claims, while One Handsome Dude ran better than expected on debut and is another worth bearing in mind.
