Sets a clear standard on his Group 2 July Stakes third but below that next time in the Richmond Stakes and down to this grade on his return from an absence at Wolverhampton. May have needed that run so not one to give up on yet but questions remain.
Dark Angel colt has progressed well in four starts so far, building on a luckless Musselburgh second with two dominant all-the-way successes. Won in a good time at Chelmsford and remains one to keep on the right side of on course debut.
Notched a quick brace with wins at Nottingham and Goodwood and well tried since. Sold for 90,000 gns in October and fifth subsequently on sole star in Qatar. Suited by drop back in trip and can be involved off these terms.
Gave away plenty of weight on winning AW debut over this C&D on first run since August and wind surgery. Lightly-raced and open to plenty more improvement but got an easy lead last time and this will be much tougher.
Acclamation colt who showed promise on debut behind a smart winner who broke the juvenile track record and subsequently won with plenty in hand over this C&D. Has obvious potential but this will require plenty more.
Has been highly tried since winning on debut at Thirsk in June. Back to winning ways dropped to novice company on AW debut at Newcastle and ran to a similar standard in this grade at Wolverhampton. Can be competitive but this is tougher.
Very consistent performer who won on debut at Bath in May and gained her first win since at Lingfield last time. Life will become tougher in handicaps and also faces a stiff task off these terms.

Forecasts
You Never Can Tell (9/4), Sunsprite (11/4), Deep Intrigue (7/2), James Street (5/1), Don Armado (13/2), Charming Kid (7/1), K Club (8/1), No Nonsense (12/1)
Should Charming Kid build on his recent return and get back to his very best then he would be hard to beat but that remains a risk to take. Sunsprite has a very likeable and progressive profile who looks a more solid proposition but slight preference is for DEEP INTRIGUE. He'll face challengers for the front early on but he won setting a very aggressive and strong tempo last time and likewise is moving rapidly in the right direction. Don Armado is taken to chase them home providing he's none the worse for his international exertions.
