Finished second in a 2m Wexford hurdle on soft ground in May. Chasing debut did not go to plan when finishing forth of six beaten 42L in a Thurles beginners contest on good ground in November, but may be the one to chase the favourite home.
Won a weak maiden hurdle at Fairyhouse early this year, but not progressed, and soundly beaten on chase debut at Cork before a dull effort at Clonmel when finishing ninth of 15 last month. Others look more appealing.
Looks to be an improving sort and the trainer appears to have found an ideal opportunity for the Milan gelding to get off the mark here over the larger obstacles.
Forecasts
Roaring Bull (4/7), Great Khan (10/3), Maeve's Choice (11/2), Eshtiaal (20/1), Home Place (25/1)
ROARING BULL second of eight behind Campeador here over 2m on good to yielding ground last month puts the Milan gelding firmly in the frame to get of the mark over the larger obstacles. Great Khan can transpire to be the biggest danger in a weak looking renewal. Eshtiaal could be next best.
