C&D winner in March built on midfield reappearance when third here last time out. Should now be ready to peek third time back and is only 1lb higher than aforementioned win in the first-time visor.

Maiden showed some fair form here early in the year over 1m but lesser efforts of late. Upped to 1m3f here last time but sixth and looked short runner so longer trip here a significant concern.

Dual three-year-old bumper winner unplaced in four previous races under flat rules but promising hurdles third at Musselburgh last month surely gives her a chance at this level off this mark.

Dual C&D winner but well beaten here last twice and basically tailed off most recently. Hard to be confident on the back of such efforts.

Maiden is getting nearer all the time with three seconds in last four starts with lone exception when upped to 1m6f. First run here but handles other AW surfaces well and rates a leading contender after a short-head defeat latest.

In poor form last winter and similar tale this year too. Beaten over 40L on recent return here and for all he may come on for the run he's easily passed over here.

Only beat one rival in three starts and beaten 25L plus in each for John Spearing. Starts out at lowly level for new connections and over longer trip but can't glean anything positive so far.

26-race maiden has never finished better than third on the flat. Recent form very poor and impossible to fancy now.

Maiden of nine starts, five hurdles, four flat has shown little to give any real confidence here and last flat start was actually her best but even that saw her a 10L seventh of nine.

Maiden of 13 races ran one of his best races to date latest when third here over 2m eight days ago. Drop in trip shouldn't cause any great inconvenience and certainly one for the shortlist in such a weak affair.

Verdict

After three recent second placed efforts COSMOGYRAL can finally go one better and land the spoils in this race lacking strength in depth. Most feared of her rivals is Keith Dalgleish's bumper winner Cuckoo's Calling whose hurdle third latest entitles her to a big say back on the level. Also set to go well is top-weight Di's Gift who is building back towards another C&D win.
