Solid in a number of point-to-point starts since March but worryingly pulled up on both starts under rules. Others preferred.
Point-to-point winner in February but was well held in a Wexford maiden hurdle when last seen in May. Plenty to prove.

Won a point-to-point last month before a couple of gloomy runs over 3m. First-time blinkers may have a positive effect.

Promising third of 12 beaten 5¾L in a Punchestown hunter chase in April before a heavy defeat at Downpatrick when last seen in May. May need the run on return to action.

25/1
Winner of six of his 25 point-to-point starts but remains a 12-race maiden under rules. Form doesn't warrant support here.
Westerner gelding who ran out when leading in a Tramore hunter chase in April before a promising second of seven beaten 9L on return to the track at Cork last month. Rates a leading contender.
Fruits Of Love gelding out of a Persian Bold mare. Modest form in a number of point-to-point starts all when last seen over 20-months ago. Best watched on return.
Three-time point-to-point winner who has shown very little so far under rules. Will need to raise overall profile to play a role here.

Kadeed gelding out of a Anshan mare. Point-to-point form appears to be solid enough for the nine-year-old to enter calculations here.

Heavy defeats over the larger obstacles at Naas and here in October over 12-months ago, leave the Central Park gelding with a seemingly impossible task ahead of him here.
Has shown little in four maiden hurdles outings and was sent off at 100-1 when down the field at Tipperary last time. Readily opposed.

Does well in these races and could have further improvement following a third of eight at Cork when last seen under rules in April. Place claims.
Point-to-point winner earlier this month, looking impressive in the process and cannot be ruled out looking at the full card in this contest.

Lightly-raced, placed in Hunter Chase at Tramore and a Sligo maiden hurdle in the spring over 2m/2m5f. Likely to go well once again.
Solid and consistent in a number of point-to-point starts since October. Strong place claims and entitled to make the shortlist here.

Forecasts

Johnny Sue (2/1), Wrong Direction (4/1), Glorious Galway (6/1), Kadmer (13/2), Sizingdowntherhine (10/1), Festival Opera (10/1), Like A Demon (12/1), Summons To Court (14/1), Be My Dream (20/1), Calderone (20/1), Hollybank King (25/1), Follow The Moon (25/1), Coach Road (33/1), Mustmeetforapint (33/1), Baily Fox (50/1)

Verdict

The Seamus Spillane-trained WRONG DIRECTION can convert his impressive point-to-point form on his debut under rules and looks an exciting prospect. Kadmer, solid in a number of point-to-point starts since June and Johnny Sue look capable of hitting the frame.
  1. Wrong Direction
  2. Kadmer
  3. Johnny Sue
