High class novice won three of first four before finishing third to Black Op in Aintree Grade One over 2m4f. Still going well enough when falling two out on return upped to 3m for first time last month and she stayed distance in point-to-points.
Winner over fences and hurdles but rated 4lb higher in this code. Third on return at Southwell gives her a bit to find but come on plenty for that now so not ruled out by any means.
Won last two starts last term and showed now considerably higher mark is justified when a close third on return here in a Listed mares only contest over C&D. Should again go well but vulnerable to potentially better handicapped types.
Improving mare put in a career-best performance on return when scooting clear by 14L at Ludlow. Handicapper adds 11lb for that run but even that could prove lenient and has a major chance if she stays this trip.
Placed in three chases this season so far and similarly competitive over hurdles previously. C&D second back in April but 9lb higher now so chance gets no easier and again more likely to place unless wind-op makes major difference.
Only won once, that a heavy ground novice hurdle at Wincanton but hinted that she may be on the up last time with a close second at Sandown on similar ground. Certainly has potential off this mark if as effective over 3m on faster ground.
Narrowly touched off over 2m3f at Fontwell penultimately before shade disappointing third as favourite at Hereford most recently. Upped dramatically in trip now so hard to gauge but not looked an obvious stayer so far.
MOMELLA may just have too much class for these rivals based on her Grade One form last season and she should have no problem with this longer trip so gets the nod despite her welted-burden. Harry Fry's filly however will not have things all her own way with recent runaway winner Chilli Filli and potentially improving mare Jubilympics both highly respected rivals.
