Initial mark looks stiff based on what he has achieved so far, but may be able to go on again after a recent wind operation. Market check suggested.
Soft ground Carlisle winner (2m1f) a year ago when 8lb lower. Has been very competitive from similar marks to this since then, without being able to win. Probably needed his reappearance and is an each-way player.
Ayr maiden hurdle winner (2m, soft) in March. Was disputing lead when falling two out in a Newcastle handicap (heavy) when last seen in April. Same mark today, and should give a very good account.
15-race maiden and now in the hands of his fourth trainer. Ran well at Catterick on debut for this one last month (1m7½f, good) and goes handicapping from a feasible mark. Handles cut. Interesting.
Hasn't shown much in three starts to then receive what looks a stiff initial mark. Looks one to watch on handicap debut.
Scored here over C&D (good to soft) in March last year, when 5lb lower. Now on a nine-race losing run, but has proved competitive from this sort of mark and with cheekpieces a potential positive, he could bounce back and go close.
Has shown only marginal improvement for being stepped up again in trip in two runs since a lengthy absence. Drop in trip less of a concern than soft ground, but if he handles it then he can't be ruled out after 2lb drop.
Still early days after just a couple of handicap runs, but will still need to show a bit of improvement to win from this mark.
Enjoyed a good autumn, winning on both the Flat (1m1f, soft) and over hurdles (2m, good). Well held from 2lb higher at Leicester last time, and ground as testing as this is a concern.
Enjoyed a purple patch early in 2017. Would be well handicapped if able to get back to that sort of form, but impossible to make a case for him on recent efforts.
Won a bumper and a juvenile hurdle on testing ground when in France. Hard to fancy on what we have seen in five starts this autumn/winter since joining this trainer.

Global Ruler (5/2), En Meme Temps (7/2), Barrys Jack (4/1), Suggestion (9/2), Lester Kris (8/1), Ex S'elance (9/1), Little Pippin (9/1), Snougar (12/1), Monfass (14/1), Gold Runner (16/1), Wor Verge (33/1), Modulus (33/1)
A few of interest in the finale, with top weight En Meme Temps among them. He needs monitoring for market confidence on his first run post-wind surgery, while the same applies to Lester Kris on his handicap debut. Global Ruler should be competitive, along with Suggestion, Monfass and Barry's Jack. However, SNOUGAR was in with a decent chance of winning from this mark before falling when last seen in April and he is taken to atone.
