On a long losing run since 2016 and yet to win for this yard but shaped well when runner-up on fibresand debut. Likely more to come on this surface but this rates a sharp rise in distance and failed at previous try beyond two miles.
Veteran who is unbeaten in two starts over this C&D and was a solid third over two furlongs shorter here last start. Remains on an attractive mark and should go close back up to this distance.
Without a win since 2015 and although he acts well here, all his wins came back at 1m4f. Well held on belated first try at beyond two miles and this further test unlikely to suit.
Has won just once in 23 starts and that came in a minor affair in France back in 2016. Lacks a change of pace but consistent and has slipped to a good mark. Can be involved.
Winner at Lyon La Soie for Eoghan O'Neill a year ago and plugged on late for a remote fourth here on British and stable debut. May have more to offer up in trip but plenty to find with Cousin Khee.
Won or placed on 14 of 20 starts here and finished third to Cousin Khee on only previous try over this distance back in February. However tailed off on return from an absence here last month and may be best watched.
Still a maiden after eight starts. Suffered out wide from a poor draw at Lingfield and that may be best forgiven. Had previously suggested this trip should suit. One to consider in first-time visor on course debut.
Forecasts
Galileo's Spear (10/3), Purple Rock (7/2), Cousin Khee (7/2), Colwood (4/1), Sellingallthetime (6/1), Katie Gale (14/1), Alexis Carrington (20/1)
Alexis Carrington is the only three-year-old in the field and she has more upside than some exposed rivals with this test of stamina and track likely to play to her strengths. COUSIN KHEE certainly likes this C&D and off his current handicap mark rates the one to beat. Galileo's Spear is one-paced but should run his usual race and not be far away.
