Invincible Spirit gelding, cost £9,000 as a three-year-old. Related to a 5f Group 3 winner and dam closely related to a 1,000 Guineas winner. Unraced for John Gosden but made a promising enough debut for this yard last time; should improve.
Wootton Bassett gelding, cost €55,000 as a yearling and €240,000 as a Breeze-up purchase. Half-brother to a useful French winner and dam a winner in Listed class. May want further and not certain to appreciate this surface.
Still a maiden after seven starts but produced an improved performance on Fibresand debut here last time when not beaten all that far, finishing fourth of 10. Not dismissed if he can build on that.
Beaten favourite here last time out, a fourth placed effort at this course in his last five starts. His ability to go on the surface an obvious plus in a race of this nature but vulnerable to anything above average.
Still a maiden after nine career starts and while not beaten all that far on Fibresand debut, she failed to back that effort up here last time. Would have a stronger chance in a handicap rather than at these weights.
Forecasts
Point Zero (11/10), Global Melody (3/1), Favori Royal (3/1), Atyaaf (16/1), Mystical Moon (33/1), Milchik (40/1)
It might be worth taking a chance on an unexposed one here and ATYAAF ran with enough promise on debut here last month; he's well bred and should improve for that outing. Point Zero and Global Melody have both shown they can run well on this surface with preference for the former after his second here on Tuesday.
