Half-sister to a 1m-1m4f winner out of a 1m1f winner from a decent Aga Khan family. Kept on late on recent debut at Kempton, and while she will improve, that run suggested she will need a stiffer test than this.

From a very good South African family, and showed distinct promise after a tardy start when 4L fifth of 11 to Engrossed in a 7f novice at Wolverhampton nine days ago. Sure to improve, and one to consider.

Kingman filly who is closely related to smart juvenile Zebedee, but looks yard's neglected on riding arrangements, and the fitting of blinkers for her racecourse bow sounds alarm bells. Market should be informative.

Iffraaj filly out of a winning half-sister to smart performer Poet Laureate. Hampered at the start when7¼ lengths sixth of 7 to Chynna at York in July, and no surprise to see her take a big step forward now.

Well held on French debut, but showed more when fourth of 11 to Engrossed in a 7f novice at Wolverhampton on debut for current yard. Should improve again, and not easily ruled out.

Out of a half-sister to Coronation Stakes winner Indian Ink, and knew her job when 3½L sixth of 12 to Ardiente in a 7f novice at Kempton on debut last month. Should still improve, and not taken lightly.

Kodiac filly out of a half-sister to 6f Listed winner Vital Statistics. Cost 320,000 gns as a yearling, but offloaded by Saeed Suhail for just 5,000 gns earlier this year, which doesn't augur well for her immediate prospects.

Exceed And Excel half-sister to connections' smart 1½m winner Crimean Tatar. Jockey booking takes the eye, and yard has had a couple of winning debutants from a handful of tries in last two months, so needs consideration.

Dam was a multiple winner at 1m-1m4f, albeit at a modest level, and this daughter of Cityscape cost just £600 earlier in the year. Yard not known for juvenile success, and probably safe to look elsewhere.

Well beaten in a pair of 7f events at Kempton, and looks one for handicaps at a modest level.

Bred along smart sprinting lines, but didn't show much speed when ninth of 13 to Sonja Henie over 7f at Kempton at first attempt, and may be one for the longer term.

By Showcasing out of a half-sister to smart 7f winner Tantina, and likely to be effective at this trip, so considered, for all yard is just 3-54 with 2-y-o debutants in the last 12 months.

Shaped with plenty of encouragement after a slow start when fifth of 12 to California Love in similar company at Chelmsford five weeks ago, and ought to improve enough to have every chance here, so shortlisted.

Forecasts

Diamond Oasis (7/4), Wallaa (3/1), Great Shout (15/2), Beehaar (8/1), Mina Vagante (9/1), Fayetta (12/1), Cozi Bay (12/1), Sundiata (20/1), Lapidary (25/1), Speed Skater (28/1), Mrs Meader (50/1), Adamantly (50/1), Pacificadora (50/1), Sadlers Beach (80/1)

Verdict

DIAMOND OASIS had excuses when down the field in a warm contest on debut, and she is taken to leave that bare form behind. She is marginally preferred to Wallaa, who shaped well at Chelmsford last month and is open to plenty of improvement. Beehaar and Great Shout complete the shortlist in a race where the market will again be informative.
  1. Diamond Oasis
  2. Wallaa
  3. Beehaar
