Slow starting tendencies not such an issue at Newcastle where he has won twice in recent weeks. Only fifth at Wolverhampton in between, and can't afford to get behind at this track.
Not been in the best of form this year and mark is falling quite quickly as a result. Been hinting that he's ready for a revival on last couple of starts, though, and will appreciate the return to 7f after finding 6f too sharp last time.
Won a 7f turf maiden for Henri-Francois Devin in France last year, but regressive form since moving to Britain, and hard to fancy after latest flop at Southwell, even with a visor fitted.
Cape Blanco gelding who has been tried over a variety of trips, but fared better than previously when second in a 7f novice at Wolverhampton last time. Needs to improve to defy a stiffish mark, but is unexposed at this trip.
Has lost his last 14 starts, but did bounce back to form when 1½L second of 9 to Nutini at Kempton (6f) last time. Has a chance if he can build on that, with return to 7f not a problem.
Has shown some ability in qualifying, but struggled on handicap debut when ninth of 11 to Delicate Kiss over 1m here, and needs some respite if that run any guide.
Better on turf, but mark compensates for that, and he ran creditably when neck third of 12 to Mr Mac over 1m here last time. Place claims with a repeat, for all wide draw complicates matters.
Form this year is very mixed, but ran well when neck second of 11 to Declamation in a selling handicap over C&D last time. Not sure to back that up given overall record, but clearly on a fair mark.
Beaten only narrowly when third in a C&D handicap last month, and ran at least as well when ¾L second of 14 to Viola Park at Kempton last time. Should give it another good go in current mood.
Won off a basement mark over C&D in the summer, and back to winning ways when holding on all out over 1m here last time. Just 1lb higher now, but probably needs to improve in a better race.
Not firing on all cylinders of late, and ran badly when tried in blinkers at Southwell on latest start. Headgear left off now, and something to prove.
Has scored from much higher marks in the past but recent efforts not very encouraging. Had excuses when attracting support at Kempton last time (met trouble), but still needs to step up markedly.

With False Id arguably a better horse at Newcastle given his tendency to start slowly, the pick is LOCOMMOTION, who arrives on the back of a couple of solid Polytrack efforts, and appeals as value against a mixed bunch. Zorawar hasn't fired for a while, but shaped well over an inadequate 6f last time, and should be competitive from a career-low mark.
