Regularly hitting the frame in his bumper appearances without troubling the winners. One of four in the race for leading trainer.
Network gelding out of a Dark Moondancer mare. Market likely to be the best guide on debut here for leading owner/trainer combination.
Has finished runner-up in three of his five career starts to date including on hurdling introduction at Thurles last month. Rates a leading contender.
Much improved performance last month in a Fairyhouse maiden hurdle finishing second of 13 beaten 3L over 2m4f on good ground. Entitled to make the shortlist here.
Last seen finishing second of nine well held 11L at Down Royal in January. Clearly has his training problems following his debut in 2016. Worth a market check on second start for leading trainer.
Second of 10 beaten 4L in a May point-to-point over 3m. Market likely to be the best guide on hurdling introduction and stable debut.
Point-to-point winner like his dam, and has shown ability under rules, improving on hurdles debut at Killarney and when second of 12 in a Wexford maiden hurdle in October. Likely to improve once again and worth considering.
Ask gelding out of a Supreme Leader mare. No impression on dour hurdling debut when beaten 99L at Cork earlier this month. Hard to place any faith in.
Shirocco gelding out of a Pairumani Star mare €18,000 buy as a three-year-old. Beaten three out on debut in a Killarney 2m1f maiden hurdle on sole start in May.
By prolific jumps sire Stowaway out of an unplaced mare in bumpers from a smart jumps family. Well beaten when down the field on both career starts to date. Improvement to come sooner rather than later.
Not disgraced but generally well held in a number of hurdle starts since September. First time blinkers unlikely to bring about the required amount of progression needed to land a blow here.
Sent off at 50/1 and 100/1 on a couple of career starts to date running accordingly on each occasion. Hard to fancy based on what she has shown so far.
Seven race mare and beaten a total of 83L on a couple of hurdle starts last month. Others look open to more improvement.
Not disgraced in two maiden hurdle starts last month. One of four in the race for leading trainer and appears to be the choice of top jockey
Caught the eye on hurdling debut when finishing second of 10 beaten ¾L in a Thurles maiden hurdle last month over 2m7f on good to firm ground.

Trainer Willie Mullins could have this contest well and truly covered from a number of angles. It may, in a tricky conundrum, be worth siding with Ruby Walsh and the six-year-old MISS CHEVIOUS GIRL who appears to be slowly getting the hang of things. The three other Mullins contenders are worthy of consideration and all could go close but they may be split by the Noel Meade-trained Getaway Kid who ran well at Fairyhouse last month.
- Miss Chevious Girl
- Getaway Kid
- Harrie
