2m6f soft-ground handicap hurdle winner in July 2017 at Cartmel, unplaced so far in six chase starts but shaped better at Ffos Las (3m, soft) last month and drop in trip ought to suit.
Won three sellers/claimers over hurdles last year for Sophie Leech. Fair stable debut at Sedgefield over fences for this yard and entitled to get in the mix if building now.
Not the most straightforward and clearly has her quirks often following a good run with a bad run. Best efforts this year have come over fences but they've been isolated.
3-11 over fences, ran well when third (favourite) over C&D on return from a break having undergone wind surgery. Player with that run behind him eased in grade.
Just 1-22 in all codes, ran well over hurdles here (2m, good) after a wind operation last month and could get involved now back over fences from lower rating.
Regular here, best effort came over 2m6½f on good ground in May when close second. Would go very close with a repeat but far from convincing four runs since.
Nice-race maiden, seven of those unplaced efforts over fences and hard to see the run ending now after another poor effort at Warwick recently. Tongue-tie added.
Fakenham third on New Year's Day was a beacon of light in a poor season last term and was beaten a long way the other times he made the frame. 6lb wrong on these terms.
16-race rules maiden (0-4 over fences) who competes from outside of the weights; highly unlikely winner to repeat Stratford beginners' chase second from last month on this ground.
Forecasts
Global Domination (2/1), Cougar's Gold (7/2), Kalaskadesemilley (7/2), The Jugopolist (9/1), Paddocks Lounge (12/1), Midnight Owle (16/1), Ballydarsi (20/1), Hurricane Rita (20/1), Wish In A Well (28/1)
GLOBAL DOMINATION was third here last time on his first outing after wind surgery having gone off favourite. He should be that bit sharper now for the run and is eased in grade, ensuring he gets the nod in what is a moderate affair. Paddocks Lounge made a pleasing start for this yard at Sedgefield and goes on the shortlist as such while Cougar's Gold shaped better at Ffos Las recently and should benefit coming back in trip. Kalaskadesemilley went well over hurdles here last month and returns to chasing rated 5lb lower and worth a check in the betting.
- Global Domination
- Paddocks Lounge
- Cougar's Gold
