Three from four over the larger obstacles including a ½L win in a Clonmel Listed contest last month. Needs to improve on a Grade 3 run at Tipperary behind Le Richbourg in October, but this looks and easier option.
Five-race maiden hurdler and faces a difficult task on chasing debut in this heat. First-time tongue-tie unlikely to bring about the required amount of progression needed to land a blow here.
Encouraging form in a couple of career beginner chases recently but only got as far as the first in a Grade 1 Novice contest earlier this month. Hard to see her making any significant impact here.
Behind Dawn Shadow on chasing debut at Galway in October and ran in to Mengli Khan last month at Punchestown over this trip. Could emerge as a big threat.
136-rated hurdler who struggled in a couple of starts towards the season finale. Finished 28L, last of five behind Dawn Shadow in October at Galway over 2m2f.
Course winner who has also won over the trip. Tough ask on chasing debut, could go well but may find one or two better suited to today's conditions.
130-rated over hurdles, finishing second in a mares' Grade 3 at Limerick in March. Looks a progressive type but a tough task ahead on chasing debut.
Two from 10 over hurdles but well held beaten 27L finishing eighth of 18 here last month. Hard to fancy in a race this competitive.
Well beaten and no impression in his last two chase starts recently and needs to show significant improvement in this company.
Useful 127-rated hurdler, winner of two of her six starts over timber. Unlikely to pay a part in the finish.
Forecasts
Forge Meadow (9/4), Camelia De Cotte (11/4), Dawn Shadow (5/1), Tell Me Annie (6/1), Lackaneen Leader (6/1), Moyhenna (14/1), High School Days (16/1), Alighting (25/1), Oh Me Oh My (50/1), Nellie Pledge (50/1)
The Willie Mullins-trained CAMELIA DE COTTE can add to the wins of Blazing Tempo, Vroum Vroum Mag and Listen Dear for the stable in this race in the last eight years. Well held in the Grade 3 Like A Butterfly at Tipperary in October but this appears an easier task and the six-year-old can hold off the attentions of Forge Meadow and Dawn Shadow.
- Camelia De Cotte
- Forge Meadow
- Dawn Shadow
