Horse A-Z
By Footstepsinthesand out of a Seeking The Gold mare. Useful 70-rated handicapper on the Flat for trainer Fozzy Stack and possibly best watched on stable and hurdling debut. Gelded since last Flat start.

Horse silk
10/3
Practical 93-rated Flat handicapper returns to the track for the first time since being gelded on hurdling debut. Market likely to be the best guide.
3
Horse silk
14/1
Nifty 76-rated handicapper on the Flat for trainer Richard Fahey running well in defeat. Any market move should be monitored on stable and hurdling debut.
Another making his hurdling debut for powerful owner/trainer combination. Yard have had 33 winners from 241 starts with their hurdlers since April.
One from 13 on the Flat for trainer Rod Millman and will possibly need the education on stable and hurdling debut. Others preferred.

Placed twice at two but disappointed when odds-on for a maiden at Killarney on the Flat in July. Likely to be ready for hurdling debut for yard with a 44% strike rate at this meeting in the last two years.
8
Horse silk
100/1
Nothing of note, well held in a couple of hurdle starts recently. Well below par form looks set to continue against some lively debutantes.
9
Horse silk
50/1
Modest 54-rated handicapper on the Flat and well beaten at 66/1 on hurdling debut in a Fairyhouse maiden hurdle last month. Plenty to prove at present.
10
Horse silk
14/1
Urban Poet gelding out of a Red Ransom mare. Fifth of 12 well beaten 29L on hurdling debut at Roscommon in August. Sire has had slow start with national hunt progeny.
11
Horse silk
80/1
Most Improved gelding out of a Westerner mare. Well down the field on hurdling debut last month when finishing 12th of 18, beaten 49L. Hard to fancy on second start.

Modest 58-rated handicapper on the Flat improving with every run over hurdles finishing second of 17 last month at Galway. Yard are three from five at this meeting in the last two years.

33/1
Moderate 66-rated handicapper on the Flat over the summer but has generally been disappointing in his first three hurdle starts and plenty more needed in this group.
14
Horse silk
100/1
Poor on the Flat and well held on a couple of dismal hurdle efforts last month. Overall record casts doubt on his ability to get competitive here.
15
Horse silk
5/1
Flat maiden with little in the formbook this year, was already in trouble when unseating rider late on in hurdles bow at Ballinrobe in September. Improved on his second start at Gowran Park last month finishing third of 18 but needs to improve again
16
Horse silk
100/1
Below standard six-race maiden on the Flat and well beaten when a never nearer 13th of 17 on hurdling debut at Gowran Park last month. Liable to find a couple stronger.
17
Horse silk
33/1
Arcano filly lacked consistency but certainly showed ability on the Flat achieving a rating of 79. Well held on hurdling debut at Gowran Park last month but can be expected to improve on that run here.

100/1
Had shown nothing in three career starts on the Flat before finishing 10th of 15 beaten 48L on hurdling debut in September. Likely to find it tough going.
Substandard seven-race maiden on the Flat and was ridden in rear for most of the race on debut at Gowran Park last month. Open to plenty of improvement.
20
Horse silk
100/1
Disappointing five-race maiden on the Flat and was beaten some way pout on hurdling debut at Gowran Park last month over 2m finishing 14th of 18. Others look open to more improvement.
21
Horse silk
100/1
Some promise on Flat debut at Killarney in July before disappointing in three starts later in the season. Appeared to be beaten at half-way on hurdling debut last month and others look more convincing.
22
Horse silk
100/1
Sent off at three-figure prices in all six Flat starts running accordingly in the process. Well held on hurdling debut at Gowran Park last month and others make more appeal on second start here.
23

Age: 3|  Weight: 10-7| J: D E Splaine| T: B W Duke
100/1
Well beaten and no impression in a couple of maiden hurdles last month and first time tongue-tie unlikely to bring about the required amount of improvement needed to play a role here.
24
Horse silk
25/1
Famous Name filly, sent off big prices on all five career starts running appropriately on each occasion. No impression on maiden hurdle debut at Ballinrobe in September and easy to look elsewhere in this contest.

Verdict

The Joseph O'Brien-trained BAND OF OUTLAWS was a productive 93-rated Flat handicapper and returns to the track for the first time since being gelded on hurdling debut. The three-year-old can see off the attentions the Willie Mullins-trained Maze Runner whose yard has a smart record at this meeting in the last two years. In a tricky event Way Back Home and Brisk Tempo are worthy of consideration to hit the frame.
  1. Band of Outlaws
  2. Maze Runner
  3. Brisk Tempo
