Won first time out last season with and loves these conditions but pulled up all three subsequent runs, the Grand National been the most recent. Still 8lb above that Haydock win and a bit to prove at present.
Spent all of last season in the doldrums but still young enough to come back and did just that with a fine return at Cheltenham when chasing home Rock The Kasbah. A repeat of that makes him a major player and this is a slightly weaker grade.
Stayed 3m1f when winning a veterans chase at Aintree at October but has to prove his stamina for this trip and the soft ground won't be a help in that respect.
Bold jumping front-runner who put up a typically game effort when fifth in the Grand National when last seen in the spring. Ran well under this amateur at Uttoxeter prior to that and this track should suit his style.
Two wins last season and should come on for Market Rasen run where she had a stiff task at the weights. Yet to race beyond 3m2f and others have more guaranteed stamina.
Career best effort at Haydock on good ground last time when making nearly all and has plenty of form on soft as well. 5lb rise is fair and with only seven runs over fences behind him, there is probably more to come.
Hasn't had many goes at extreme trips and looked good at Fontwell last time and with his setbacks behind him, there could be improvement in him. Stable among the winners and looks a big player.
Consistent stayer in lower grade but beaten 5L by Shanroe Santos on latest and is 7lb worse off today having to run from 11lb out of the weights.
